Greetings and Hugs
PERSPECTIVE
A
wealthy man decided one day
to take
his
son on a trip to the country
to see
how poor people live.
They stayed one
day and
one
night in a very humble
farmhouse.
At the end of the
trip,
hoping his son had
learned a
lesson,
the father asked
him,
"What did
you
think of the visit?"
The son
replied,
"It was
nice, Dad."
The father asked, "What
did
you
learn?"
The son said, "I learned that
we
have
one dog
in the house and they have
four.
We
have a fountain in our garden
and
they
have a
real stream that has no end.
We have
fancy
lamps in our garden
and they have the
stars.
Our garden goes to the end of our
property,
and their garden goes all
the way to
the
horizon.
The father was
speechless...
The boy
added,
"Thanks, Dad, for
showing
me how
poor
we really are!"
Sometimes, our
real
wealth depends upon how we look at life.
I am
poor to some, and I am a millionaire to
many.
My most special inspiration
in life is
the love of my life
Lisle.
For if not for him my life
would still be
empty with a longing
for a better day!
