HOW WE MET: "On the internet! We both had WebTV's and where in a group called
WebTVPals. Once we got to talking privately away from the group we found we had many things in common. We were honest with each other about our faults, and shared our dreams with each other. We decided to meet and take the chance that we had feelings in real life as we cared for each other through words. Once we met and got past the scared initial 10 minutes, we felt as if we knew that this was the ultimate true love we had wanted our whole lives. Our love grew in the next few weeks and we decided to be together forever. We didn't want to rush into marriage to fast and took our time and enjoyed each other for several months."
Our engagement was announced on June 24, 2000.
HOW WE GOT ENGAGED: "We set our date around April but needed a ring, so we went and bought the three rings, leaving the engagement one to be sized. Lisle picked up the engagement ring without Brenda knowing early, and surprised her one weekend on a sail boat sunset cruise. Down on bended knee he proposed and opened the black box to reveal her ring. She was so surprised, and said NO NO NO, but then realized she better change that to YES. Two spirits will be joined as one on our wedding day. "
