So...The World Wide Web is truly coming of age, If an old dinosaur like myself has a computer in his house then ,heck, everybody must have one. I didn't get a telephone until 1985!Now I have a computer! It is truly an amazing machine though, anyone anywhere can communicate with anyone, anywhere! How's that for progress. Now, if we can just do something with the telephone companies...
Perhaps the ear is just a way-point for souls. They must continue on this existence until they"get it right"then they are granted to a different place.Sometimes these temporary lay-overs can last many lifetimes, some may never pass on to the next, and some may pass after only a few days here. So with this in mind what are the requirements for accession, if you will.
Well, if we research the worlds religions we find a great many similarities. The basics are all the same. The problem seems to occur with the interpretation of the reader. One person reads it, and feels they understand what they read in a clear and concise fashion. Then another person reads and feels as though they have a clear and concise idea of what they have read. Then these two meet and discuss what they have read and don't agree with each other!! How can this be? One has a completely different idea than the other. So, is religion simply a personal experience based on that individuals life events? You bet your ass it is!!
The great thing about words is that they allow the reader to form their own images and ideas to associate with the words. A mental image of their own and no one else’s. When I read book the images I receive from the words will not necessarily be the same as yours. Thus we have the problem. It's simply a matter of interpretation.
That in itself would be a hard hurdle to leap. Now lets add "I'm right and your wrong!!" to the equation. AH! now it gets sticky, because my way is the only true way and your way is wrong. So you must change your perception to be the same as mine. Not really fair is it. What if your right? You know that your beliefs were strong until this person said you were wrong and you started to doubt your faith. For shame!!! What if your right and the other persons purpose was to pull you away from the right path? To start you on that road to Hell.
So how do you know? I believe you look into your soul and it will tell you. We are
all born with a basic sense of right and wrong for ourselves. Whats right (or wrong) for
me is not necessarily right for someone else. Sounds like good old common sense to me,
but there are those that would vehemently dissagree. They would say "My way is the only
true way." For them they are right. But, I think its my choice. My soul , my path , my life,
my way. As long as I can give my soul the once over and like what I see, who can say I
am wrong? Only my soul. The preacher just follows his soul. The Pope, Ghandi just
followed their souls. How can they be wrong? Ultimately it's your soul you will answer
to, so shouldn't that be the one to follow? SO who do you write too?
