OH MY GOD!! The concert was so awesome!! I went with my friends Kelly, Rhonda and Kelly's lil' sis Jennifer. We got up at 5am and left at 6:45am. As we were driving to Hlifax, we saw a car with a couple of other girls. They were from New Brunsiwick and they had a couple of BSB posters in hand. We kept looking back at them, and they pointed to us as if to say "Are you going? We shook our heads yes. I pulled out my Backstreet's Back CD as if to say "Ya. Are you?" they shook their heads yes. So they started to follow us, because, well we presumesd they weren't sure where to go. So we pulled in to let Kelly's mom off to work and they fllowed. We were right, so they followed us down to the site. After we said good bye to Julie and Sophie (the 2 girls from NB) we went into the CBC building where Kelly's dad works and hung out there for about 15-20 mins, when we headed to the line of more then 2,000 screaming fans. Which was the Ahern Avenue entrance. And this is at 8:20 in the morning! What can we say! We're eager, excited, and determined fans! Can we help it? I'm thinking .... no.

Well the gates were to open at 3pm, but they didn't they weren't ready yet. Finalley at 4:15pm and about 8 hours later, they opened the gates. We went through them about a half hour later. YEAH!!! Almost there! It was just before 5 that we sat down, only 20 meters away from the stage. People were piling in masking the hill in color and excitement. Everything was going well, except Jennifer wasn't feeling the best. It was because none of us had eaten a lot or anything healty since god knows when. Rhonda, Kelly and myself would be able to stand, but she's only 12 (we're 15) and couldn't. She had waited all this time just to see the concert.

Ron Young (a C100fm anouncer) was the pre concert anouncer and kept repeating himself, and it got very anoying after a bit. We (a girl next to me who was 18) stated to make fun of him a bit. Then they started to play a tape of music. I swear that it was straight from the 80's! Then they finally play a 90's song about 20 mins into the music! We felt a bit relieved.

Then Peter and Kelly (two of three C100fm abouncers from the Breakfast clucb) came on to the stage and said that we were about a half hour away from Emjay and Aaron Carter! We screamed! It was more so for Aaron then anything.

Well a half hour later, Emjay came on and sung five songs just like the last time. I payed more attention then before. Last time I ran out to the merchendise stand to buy my T-shit, and poster. I guess it was because I was so close. Half way through her preformance, we saw a member from Aaron's 'boys' (as he puts it on the Shake It video) 95 South. He waved to us and plaed along with out screaming. Then one of the stage hands played with us. He jumped up and down waving. It was funny. When Emjay finished she anounced that Aaron was next. We screamed louder then before.

When Aaron came out on stage, the crowd erupted into screams and I love you Aaron!. I must admit he's cute for his age, not a bad singer, and he looks up to his big Bro a lot, so I like him. I was thrilled to see him preform. I have yet to actually buy his CD, but I plan too. Aaron sung four songs... #1.Crush On You #2. Shake It #3. Crazy Little Party Girl #4. Surfin' USA . I must say I was impresed. Aaron said this after Crush On You "WOW! There's a lot of people out there!" We all laughed.

After Aaron preformed, Kelly and Peter came out and said we had another half hour wait for the Backstreet Boys. I'm asuming this was only because of the video walls on both sides of the stage. They were waiting for it to get dark so everyone that was up on the actuall hill, could see. Also, they anounced that poor AJ was NOT preforming. 0=( The poor dear. He was seen the night before limping his way to the bus in Motréal because of his injuries.

Now 8:30pm, we wanted the Backstreet Boys. And we got them. The band came out first, and started a few chords, then went straight into That's The Way I Like It. It wasn't a minute later did the Backstreet Boys come up from the stage on platforms. They stood there for a moment while we screamed our loudest. I was afraid my ears would shater, but no. They didn't. I was watching Nick the enitre time, and he looked up at us and smiled and started to chuckle, as if to say Whoa! Along with the four Boys, a cut out carborad of AJ came up from the middle, and stage hands below moved him left and right along with the Backstreet Boys movements. I craked up laughing, but was sad because he wasn't actually there.

After stripping down to a pair of sports pantsand mucsle tank tops (EEEEEEEE!!!! More Screaming!) the Backstreet Boys jumped right in to one of my fave songs (for apparent reasons if you've seen the Much Music I&I and have been to a conert. He does a certain jesture, that... well, is only appropriate to us! In fact they all do it, but Nick is a little psyco as he does this wondorous move.) HEY MR. DJ!!!

As soon as they finished Hey Mr. DJ, Howie came out with a bouquet of white and red roses and sung a solo. It was called My Heart Will Stay With You Next, Brian came out and sang his his wonderful That's What She Said. Then Kevin sang Nobody But You. Then... Nick sang my favorite song of all time. Heaven In Your Eyes. He made me cry. In fact I balled! I jsut couldn't help it. It's such a great song and with him singing it, I mean it's just SO overwhelming!

After a few nore songs, they anounced that they were going to bring out AJ. This is after we chat his name at least 3 times. AJ lipmed his way to a stool on the stage and sang I'll Never Break Your Heart. I cried again because it's just not the same with out all 5. Nick may be my fave, but I still find that AJ has the strongest voice and is the better dancer of all. Around the ending of the song, the Backstreet Boys climbed the platform staris, (AJ limping his way) to finish the song, Brian asked us to help them to finish it, so we did. He asked to do it again. We did whole heartedly, then he asked onem more time, but to do it for AJ! We litterally screamed it, and everyone pitched in. 0=) So this time they finished it, and they left the stage. On theor way down, AJ mumbled something to Brian. AJ took a step and then put his hand on Brian's shoulder for support and limped backstage again to rest. I felt so bad for him! I wanted to cry. (I did. Especially when he started to sing!)

An injured A.J. McLean sits backstage just before Tuesday's Backstreet Boys concert.

For the lst 2 songs, they wore NOVA SCTOIAN tartin lined yellow rain jackets that an 11 year old fan presented to them in Truro. They sung Get Down and We've Got It Goin' On

In all the cocnert was the same as the last, but this was much more larger (last time there were only 7,000 fans, they added 20,000 extra fans to the menu!) The ending was the asme, but awesome. Again, they had Everybody(Bckstreet's Back) as their fianl encore. They used the coffins, along with everything else, but the VERY edning was spectacular! They had two trailers on each side of the Stage and away a bit more. That's where they shot of green, red and white fireworks. It was the best time ever! And Nick gave a young girl in the front a kiss and Howie was joking and hit him a couple of times. Nick tried to block the little hits and they lfet. That was the end!

Afterwards, we made or way to the CBC Building once more, and headed home to bed. We need our rest after a day like that!

And they say that Citedal Hill has never been taken Prisnor! The Backstreet Boys did so on that awesome night!
