The above picture was taken at 4:45 in the morning at Guildford Station. The Station did not open until 5:00 but we needed to catch the first train into London to make it in time for our reservations on the EuroStar to Paris. The kids were great little travelers...... Oh, and so was Joules!
At last... the Eiffel Tower! We checked in at the hotel and headed directly over to see the Tower. Wow, is it large! We went past a cafe and purchased sandwiches and had a picnic in the garden near the tower. Magnificent!
Libby and Joules did some sight seeing with us... but they wanted to shop too. Paris is a mecca for shoppers!
We spent five days in Paris.... saw so much. This is one of my favorite pictures... we took a break for a snack along the banks of the Seine. We watched the tour boats cruise past.... was a very European feel. There were many fountains in the city.... this one was especially attrative! Too much to see in one week! We will return again.
