They did it! The guys finally get the respect they so much deserve in the music industry! on December 7,1998, the Backstreet Boys won 2 awards. They won Group Album of the Year (beating Spice Girls) and Adult Contemporary Record of the year! Howie's speech was really moving because he dedicated the award to his late sister,Caroline Cochran. Brian yelled a "Hi Mom!" AJ thanked everyone at the record company,the fans, his 'baby'(Amanda Latona),grandma, his mom, and then he touched his ear for someone...how cute!Kevin thanked the industry and us fans! WAY TO GO, BSB!!
The performed a medley of "I'll Never Break Your Heart/All I Have To Give." They started out with INBYH. They were standing on a white lit platform which moved to the front of the stage. After the first chorus, the music for AIHTG began and their back-up dancers came out with hats for the guys. They looked HOT (kinda like gangsters). And they danced just like in the video. It seemed difficult,but they pulled it off perfectly! The even did that hat routine where the put it on their feet and catch it in the air!
