"aaah... meeting the backstreet boys... the stuff dreams are made of.... well, a few weeks ago, my friend Angel and I got to live this dream. It was a whirlwind BSB week that actually started well ahead of time. After weeks of plotting and sobbing, Angel and I secured tickets to the taping of the Disney concert special. I was so worried because I had never seen the BSBs in person before, and I thught I would change my favorite after seeing them live and then I would not know how to continue my life. But luckily, the concert lived up to every expectation and Mr. Carter did not disappoint. So Angel did a bit of research and we discovered the hotel our boys were staying at. What to do with this type of information? Well, "visit" them, of course. The first day I went and there was 8 million girls there (OK, I am exaggerating, it was only 7 million) and I did not even see them I had so many people in front of me. The next night, we formed a plan. We would go at night when all the boppers had to go home and stay until whenever it took. So many cold hours later, 2 AM came and so did the BSBs. I was a spotting animal. First came Brian, then Kevin, then AJ, then Nick. Somehow, we totally missed Howie. Angel took a picture with Brian first because he was running in and I was about to take one too but I saw Nick and I forgot who Brian was and he went inside. Before we reached Nick (me still in a panic attack because of allt he horrible Nick stories I have heard), we stopped and I got a picture with Kevin. Then Angel went to pose for one and I saw Nick coming and I started walking away. Of course though, I was just kidding and I went back and took the picture. We make our last pit stop at AJ and each get pictures before finally reaching Nick. I quietly asked for my picture and he put his arm around me. So I get my picture and he hugs me. Pretty much right after that, he went inside and only AJ was left out and he stayed for quite a while. Enough time for Angel to get like 6 pictures more with him! We ended up meeting them again later on in the week at a press conference at Studio 54. Kevin was unbelievably nice and called us over when the security guards told us we couldn't go. We got more pictures and I got my CD signed. Well, except for my good friend Brian who again ran right into the van. Next time..."
