Its been longer than a while since I have updated this site, but I am here now. I have been extremely busy. I have recently been promoted to manager at my job. Well worth a cigar! Hopefully I can get back on track with this site. I would like to wish my best friend Eric congradulations on your marriage! I was the best man, and yes I smoked a Cuban Montecristo in celebration. I have alot to catch up on, but for now I want to get back to making backgrounds. For all you that have still visited the site,..THANKS! To the newbies, hope you enjoy.

Me at Dunhill, London
It is still six months away but I am getting excited about my trip to London, Paris, and S. Africa. It will be my fourth time going within as many years. I can not wait to grace the doors of the Dunhill store in London again.

While updating this site I get an urge to smoke, (I hope that it makes you feel that way to look at my creations), so I tryed a couple of cigars that were given high ratings in the last issue of Cigar Aficianado. The Bauza Casa Grande, and the Padron Churchill. Neither of these cigars could hold thier ash, which is a negative to me. The Bauza kept going out, but by the middle of the cigar there was alot of good flavor. It was the first Padron I had tried, even after hearing how great they were. It only cost $4.15 to my amazemant. I enjoyed it thourghly. It reminded my of the old Belindas. Definately reccomended.

Happy New Year! Haven't had that much of a chance to update the site this Holiday Season, but I did have a GREAT time this Christmas weekend. My best friend Ben got married and I saw all my friends I grew up with in high school. (Chris and Wes have a safe trip home.) I had gone a week or so with out smoking, but I went through four Excalibur # 1's and two Cohiba's (Cuban) this past weekend. I wish Ben, Nikki, and their beautiful baby boy Cole a great life togethor!!!

It has been a while since I have had a chance to put an entry in. This is due to the fact I have been putting in 75 hr. work weeks, and do not really have the time. I did try the Cifuentes I mentioned before. I wish I had a picture of it to show. It has a beautiful, oily ,dark to medium brown wrapper. It is very well made. I had a triple esspresso while smoking it. I felt the tastes complemented each other. A nice, strong, rich taste. I highly reccomend the espesiale. My girlfriend also picked me up an early Christmas present. A box of Hoyo Excalibur #1's. One of my favorites! If only everybody knew how great a gift a cigar is.......

I finally got my hand on the new Dominican Cohiba. My cigar shop has four of the differant sizes. I picked the corona especiale, which is basically a copy of the Cuban Cohiba especiale. It was 6 1/2 x 42, with a pig tail. I smoked it at night outside a cafe while drinking a double esspresso. It looked like a strong and peppery cigar, so I felt this time was best. To my amazemant it was rather mild, and I felt it didnt have too much flavor. It was worth trying once ,but I doubt I will buy it again. I am looking forward to smoking a Cifuentes (Partagas) which I just picked up. I chose the same size as the Cohiba, an especial. I'm not sure this is what it is called though. It has a beautiful oily wrapper and I am sure will be a great smoke. Look for my comments on it.

Last night was the first game for the Bulls regular season . So I made a night out of it. I tryed a new Italian restaurant which makes their pasta daily. You havent had pasta until you've had fresh pasta! After a good meal I went to my tobacconist and bought a cigar I had wanted to try for a while. I remember it was the only Dominican cigar that I saw was sold in London. It amazed me that in London they didnt carry any other Dominicans. Although they have Cubans, they are still missing out on some great cigars. The cigar is a Santa Damiana. It was a very nice cigar. I highly reccomend trying it. I sat down, with cigar in hand to watch the Bulls rack up their first win. They didn't.......Atleast the night wasn't a complete loss.

Well the Marlins did it last night! I must say it was very exciting with the extra innings. I took out a Excalibur # 1 from my humidor, grilled up some steak, and relaxed for the occasion. Now on to BasketBall,..and MY BULLS!!!

After differentiating opinions on what the background of me and my girlfriends computer should be, her loving Winnie the Pooh, and me offcoarse cigars, I created a combination of the two. Check it out!

Well, I have returned from the World Series with a dissapointing loss by the Marlins. I must say the high note of the weekend was the Opus X #2. What a beautiful smoke! It was so smooth. I took many pictures of me and my friends get togethor, with a digital camera for this site, yet accidentally deleted all of them. Better luck at the wedding, I hope!

Baby Shower, World Series with an Opus!

My best friend Ben is having a baby shower this weekend, and what else shoud I pick to celebrate the occasion, but an Opus X #2. (I am saving a Cuban for his wedding next month.) It will be a great weekend considering I will also be going to the World Series on Sunday!

A little bit about me

My name is Jason. I was born in South Africa and moved to America when I was seven. I started smoking fine cigars as soon as I turned 18, and have not stopped since. I recently moved to Gainesville from Melbourne, FL. I have got a couple of my best freinds to enjoy cigars with me at times ,yet they wont spend the money on a constant basis. There is a Cigar Shop herewith a GREAT selection. They constantly have Ashtons, Excaliburs, Temple Halls, and Fuentes.
I must say by far my favorite cigar is the Cuban Montecristo #2, It makes my mouth water to think about it.
I have taken numerous trips to London and Paris. Which has allowed me the chance to try all differant kinds of Cubans. I remember, one of the most lovely times I had in England was sitting outside a church in the middle of winter, in the town of Bath, smoking a Montecristo #1 that I had just purchased next door, as two college students played their violins for passer byers. It was the first cigar I had had since I arrived in England a day before. Luckily, I will return to England, South Africa, and Paris in July.
When I am at home I like to enjoy Onyxs, Excaliburs, Ashtons, and Temple Halls.
