.Chapter.Three.

Aaron Carter was so full of energy as he came out on stage. All four friends exchanged glances at each other and then returned their attention to the stage. All had smiles on their faces and their eyes opened wider the closer Aaron came to them. Mickey couldn't believe the energy this boy had as he was cartwheeling the entire length of the stage. He got dizzy and fell down towards the end but that didn't stop him. He jumped up again and continued running around happy as can be.

After he sung Crush On You he did Shake It, and then slowed it down a bit with I'm Gonna Miss You Forever. He could barely sit still while singing the ballad. He went up to the front of the stage and everyone screamed. He went over to Laura and reached out and touched her hand. Laura couldn't believe it! Tracee snapped a picture as she was screaming in disbelief.

When he finished off I'm Gonna Miss You Forever Jane came out on stage and he sang Ain't That Cute. Well everyone liked that even better because they all knew that Brian and Nick wrote it. And of course when he got to the part "Nick always told me just to follow my dreams…" everyone went wild again. Kris and Tony just weren't getting it. They didn't understand how just the mention of someone's name could cause so much hysteria. Mickey laughed at them when they shrugged at each other.

Everyone thought that this was the last song that Aaron would sing but he came back out in a wet suit carrying a surf board. His two dancers came out with blown up plastic sharks and the music for Surfin' USA blasted through the speakers. Still full of energy, Aaron put as much into this song as he had his others. When it was over he thanked the crowd and got the even more hyped up.

When he went off stage everyone had a chance to catch their breath and collect their thoughts. It would be another half an hour before the Backstreet Boys would be out. Mickey didn't know if she could wait half an hour, she wanted to see them now. And just knowing that they were so close was driving her crazy. She was not the only one that felt this way either, the crowd was getting restless. Some fans took this moment to take a bathroom break. There was no way any of the friends were leaving their spot. It didn't matter that they had reserved seats, they still didn't want to chance missing anything.

The girls chatted away about Aaron's performance. They all agreed it was better then the last time they saw him, and he was growing up too. They didn't communicate with Tony and his friends too much. For one they were older and for another they just didn't get it. During the sixth time Laura mentioned when Aaron came over and touched her hand Nick and Brian came running out on stage with a camera! The crowd went crazy, especially the friends considering they stopped right in front of them! After they snapped a few pictures of the crowd they ran off stage again.

"Oh my god Tracee, tell me you took a picture of that!" Exclaimed Mickey.

"Oh no! I wasn't even thinking! Nick was right in front of me and I completely froze." Replied Tracee in total disbelief.

"Tracee you're losing your touch girl." Teased Jenn.

"Hello, you guys can take the pictures if you don't like the job I'm doing?"

"Hey you captured my Aaron moment so I'm happy." Laura said while daydreaming.

They all brought cameras but Mickey wanted to save her pictures for backstage. The other three liked that idea but Tracee said that they needed some pics of the concert so she would take them. Jenn had teased her and said that she wouldn't be able to take pics backstage because she wouldn't know what to do. I think the Nick and Brian incident backed up that theory. Oh well, they would all get great pictures of the concert and backstage so none of them were really worried.

"Five more minutes and they come on! I can't wait!" Laura was at the edge of her seat holding on to Jenn's arm. Jenn needed the support as much as Laura, without each other Mickey thought they would have fallen off their seats.

"It's hard to believe that we still get this excited when we've seen them so much. We've even seen this particular concert." Jenn said shaking her head and smiling.

"Yeah but it gets better ever time. And this time we get to meet them." Reminded Tracee.

Soon after, the music stopped and the lights went down once again. All four friends, as well as all the other fans, jumped to their feet. The girls saw the band take their spots and then started to play an unfamiliar sound. The fans waited and waited but still not Backstreet Boys, just the slow anticipating music being played by the band.

Then finally the boys jumped up from below the stage and fireworks went off around them. The band started to play different music and Nick broke into song….. "Somebody told me that you're not my type, so have I lost my mind………."

Oh man did they ever look good in their track suits. They were psyched for the concert and they wanted to make sure the crowd was too. I think the crowd was already there.

Mickey thought to herself that they seemed to look better every time she saw them. When she first became a fan she thought Nick was so geeky, then he started growing and he caught her eye. He still had a little bit of baby fat on him though, she didn't mind. Now he was just hot! No trace of fat or geekiness. He was full fledged awesome. They were all extremely sexy. She could barely keep her thoughts on the concert as she stared at them. They were so close to her.

Tracee was having fun taking pictures. They had five rolls for the concert and Tracee knew she would use all of them up no problem. She could snap pics and still watch the concert. They were in the perfect place for pictures too. All of a sudden Howie jumped in front of Tracee and posed for her! That took Tracee away from her daydreaming but she didn't mind at all! Howie smiled at her and then was on his way.

Laura was so happy, she couldn't believe she was here. Every once in a while she would glance over at Mickey to see how she was doing. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. Laura was very pleased. She tried to remember the last time Matthew was able to make her smile so much. No more of this thinking, Laura thought, it's time to get funky!!

Jenn was totally oblivious to what was going on around her. She was only concentrating on the five gorgeous guys that were running around and dancing in front of her. She couldn't decide on a favorite because she just loved them all. God was definately in a good mood when he brought these five together. She, along with about 20 million other people were very thankful for this.

Howie came out to do his solo holding a bouquet of red roses. The crowd screamed again, not a big suprise to anyone. He looked very suave walking the length of the stage and walking out onto some of the equipment to get closer to his fans. The girls would just squish each other to get closer to him. They had tears in their eyes and would almost start a fight when he started handing out roses. When he finished his song and was heading off stage he walked over by the girls and through down four roses for them. That was the sweetest thing a guy had every done for any of them.

AJ was next to come out and do his solo. He sang Lay Down Beside Me and pointed to a girl holding a sign that read "Aj I'll Lay Down Beside You Anytime". He smiled and lifted his eyebrows. What a flirt! She was older though so she had a better chance then some of the fans that were there. It seemed like Aj was taking in everything as he walked around on stage. He came over to where the four friends were and knelt down as he finished belting out his tune.

Kevin's solo was a little more upbeat then the others were. Mickey loved it, she had an excellent version of it on cd. He wasn't trying romantically to win the fans over, he was here to have a good time and he wanted everyone else to have one as well. Of course they were. A couple of his buttons were undone at this point and that got the attention of quite a few of the girls, even ones who weren't necessarily Kevin fans.

Brian came out on stage carrying a guitar and the crowd screamed louder then they had all night. He sat down with one of the guitar players from the band and they started to play That's What She Said. He sang it with such emotion. Half way through he got the crowd to sing it with him and then he got them to sing it by themselves. He was really impressed by the amount of people that sung the words back to him. He almost had a tear in his eye.

Nick was the last one to come out. Unbelievably the crowd was louder then they were for Brian! The downfall to Nick's solo was that he stayed up the stairs, he didn't come down to the stage level. In other words, he was too far away! He sang so wonderfully, teasing the audience with the drawn out words. Then he got into it in a funky sort of way. So many girls were crying and trying to get closer to him. He wasn't even paying attention, he just sang away and then ran off stage when he was done.

The rest of the concert was just as exciting. There wasn't a dull moment that's for sure. For the final finale they came out in coffins to do Everybody after showing clips of the video up on the giant screnes they had. They best part of the concert came when Nick stood in front of the four girls and sang 'Am I Sexual?' as he lifted his shirt and started to pull down the waist of his track pants a bit. Everybody (heehee) went crazy! He stopped and gave a mischevious look and shook his head and finger as if to say the crowd was bad for having the thoughts he knew they were having. He was being such a tease!!

After they finished Everybody the Boys thanked everyone for coming out and then ran off stage. There was an awesome display of fireworks and then the house lights came on. The concert was over. It seemed like it had just started and now it was over.
