"Hi" Brian said again, noticing that Mickey was in her own little world.
"Ahh, Hi." She said half in shock.
Denise introduced everybody. She was getting used to introducing the girls now. Aaron came running over again. This time he wasn't mad at Nick, he had forgotten the earlier incident. There was a long awkward moment of silence until Aaron broke it by running and lunging into Nick giving him a hug.
"Look it's Mickey and Nicky!" He exclaimed, very amused with himself.
Everyone kind of let out a chuckle. This little boy had just performed earlier in the night and it was now getting late but he was still full of energy!
"Come on Aaron," Jane started. "It's time we get going. You have to go to bed soon."
"No!" He whined. "I wanna stay with Nick."
"Just a half an hour ago you were mad at him. Plus you know you can't stay."
"Nick will you come back to the hotel too?" Aaron pleaded.
"Sorry little man, we promised to meet with these girls." Nick answered, hating to dissapoint the younger version of himself. "I tell ya what though, I'll come and look in on ya when I get back."
"Ok then." Aaron said as he pouted and walked away with his mother.
"It was nice to meet you girls." Jane called over her shoulder.
"You too." The girls replied.
"I'm gonna take off too." Denise said. "I have some things to do and I would like to get to bed at a good time tonight if at all possible. Nice meeting you girls. And Boys, don't stay out too late. I know you won't listen though." She ended off in a chuckle.
"Good night Mom." AJ said as he leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good night sweety."
"Good night Denise." All the others replied.
Things were starting to get even quieter now. The four girls were the only fans left. Tony and Kris and their two ladies left. Guess that reporter for the magazine didn't need an article too bad. The crew and a few reporters and photographers were left. They were busy doing their thing but the Boys didn't notice them at all it seemed. Their attention was focused on the girls standing in front of them.
"So what's up y'all?" AJ inquired. "Have you come back to reality?" He asked Mickey with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah for now." She replied as her face turned a crimson red. She could just imagine what they must have thought she was thinking of. And for once she wasn't thinking nasty thoughts. Oh well, no sense in trying to explain she thought.
"So how old are you ladies anyhow?" Nick wondered curiously.
"Me and Mickey are 20," Tracee began to explain "and Laura and Jenn are 17. They're still children." She finished off in a teasing tone. Both Laura and Jenn hated to be reminded that they were younger. They wished they could go to the clubs with Tracee and Mickey and pick up the older guys.
"Hey we're old enough for you to hang out with all the time." Jenn reminded her. Tracee knew that there was no winning this one so she dropped the subject.
"So what do you guys usually do at these backstage meetings?" Mickey inquired. "You have to remember this is our first time."
"Ain't the first time always a bugger." AJ said, obviously not talking about backstage passes.
"Who's the one that needs to come back to reality now?" Mickey teased him.
"What? I'm in reality here." He was laughing as he was trying to play Mr. Innocent.
"Yeah whatever." She retorted.
"When we meet people backstage we usually end up answering a lot of questions and signing autographs." Howie answered. "So is there anything you would like to ask or talk about or sign."
"Naw, I'm not much into that kind of stuff, sorry."
"Don't appologize," Kevin snuck into the conversation. "It's good to come across people who don't freak out cause they're talking to you and stuff. So how did you like the concert? Was it your first one."
"The concert was awesome." Tracee interjected. "It was our fourth of you guys."
"Wow, dedicated fans!" Brain said, "And this is the first time you've met us?"
"Yep," Replied Laura. "It was our first chance. We would have liked to meet you a couple of years ago but we had to wait for our opportunity."
"Was it worth the wait?" Brian wanted to know.
"Yeah." Was the reply from all four girls.
"That's good to hear. We like to keep our fans happy." Howie said smiling.
"So do you guys live in Toronto?" AJ asked?
"Yeah, on the outskirts." Answered Mickey.
"Mickey has to live in the outskirts cause her house is too big to fit in the city!" Jenn explained as Mickey shot her a look.
"I have something to ask." Laura said, trying to take the topic off of Mickey and her house and money. "Do you guys mind if we take some pictures? We have a lot of rolls of film here!"
All five of the guys chuckled and said that they didn't mind taking pictures. They took pics of everyone, the guys together, by themselves, the girls with each of them and all of them. Then Nick took the cameras and started to take pictures of everyone. He was just going around and snapping pictures. Then he started using a French accent and was telling them which way to pose. Brian started to get really hyper so he was posing very funny. The girls couldn't wait to develop these pictures, they were one of a kind!
"Do you guys know of any good clubs around here?" AJ asked Mickey and Tracee.
"There's a ton of good ones. This is Toronto!!!! The best are The Docks and The Guvernment. The Guvernment has five clubs in it and gets kinda crowded sometimes. The Docks is down at the water front and they have a lot of neat stuff there. The club is a complex and it's 21 acres, there's a pool table in the pool! But that also gets crowded. So they both have great points to them and down points too I guess." Tracee answered.
"A pool table in the pool!!!!!! That's awesome! We have to go to that one." Aj said excitedly.
"We were going to go out tonight, did you two want to come with us?" Howie asked.
"Sure." They both said.
"Well we have to shower and stuff before we go anywhere. Do you want to meet up somewhere." Kevin said, getting into the conversation.
"I have to drive Laura and Jenn home. They can stay at my place. Do you guys know where the clubs are or any other place we can meet at?"
Mickey knew she didn't have to ask Laura and Jenn if they would like to stay at her house. They absolutey loved it and rarely left.
"Um no we don't really know much around here. We know Much Music but we don't know how to get there or anything. That's what our driver is for!" AJ responded. "How about you just meet us at our hotel and then we can go from there? Is that ok?"
"Yeah that'll be ok. Give us about an hour or so. Oh and which hotel are you guys staying at?"
"The Royal York."
"So should we bring our bathing suits with us?" AJ asked still thinking of the pool table.
"Sure if that's the one you want to go to. Will it bother you guys being in a crowd?"
"Naw, we're kinda used to them." Kevin said jokingly. "No seriously when we go to clubs we usually don't get hassled too much. Everyone is too busy with themsleves and stuff."
"Ah I see." Said Mickey nodding her head. "Well bathing suits it is I guess! We'll head out now and see you guys in a little bit then."
"Alrighty then." Brian said as he did his Jim Carrey impression. "We shall see you soon."
"Goodnight Nick." Mickey said shyly. She wished Nick was old enough to go to the club. Yes she wouldn't mind seeing him in a pool at all.
"Good night Mickey." He smiled back. "Good night girls."
Jenn and Laura tried to smile but the reality was that their fun was over. They had an awesome time but they had to go now. They wondered if they would ever get the chance to see them again. They suddenly hoped that Tracee and Mickey could hit it off really well with Brian, AJ, Kevin and Howie.
"How about you let a couple of our gaurds walk you to your car?" Howie asked, worried about what could happen to four girls in the city after dark.
"Don't worry about us. Mickey will just beat the shit out of anyone who tries anything and Tracee will freak them out so bad that they'll run!" By now Jenn was laughing because she was just picturing it. Plus you guys need your gaurds."
"Ok well at least let a couple of the band guys walk you. It'll make us feel better." Kevin said as he gave a puppy dog face.
They fell for it because they weren't expecting a puppy dog face from Kevin. Maybe Nick or Brian or a sly one from AJ but not Kevin. So they said their final goodbyes for then and they were escourted to the Blazer by Tommy Smith and Tim Berkible, the keyboardist and drummer for the Boys. All six of them had a fun time walking to the car. The two guys were so funny, Tim complained the whole way though but he didn't mean it. They were laughing and enjoying the walk. Tom and Tim turned out to be really cool, they could have bitched the whole way since they were kind of forced into walking four strangers to their car. They mentioned that they might stop by the club later tonight too. When they got to the Blazer they said goodbye and Mickey offered to drive them back to the Skydome. They accepted, it was a hot night and they had worked hard so now they were in a lazy mood.
When they got back to the Skydome the Boys bus had already left. All four girls were dissapointed but Tracee and Mickey knew they would be seeing four of them later. The girls said goodbye to Tom and Tim once again and then drove to Mickey's. Nothing was said the whole way home, they were all reminicing about the night that had just taken place.
