.Chapter.Six.

Once the girls got back to Mickey's she and Tracee were in a mad rush to get ready. Laura and Jenn just went off into the living room with their heads down.

"I wish we could go. This is such an awesome opportunity." Laura said thinking of Howie.

"Yeah well I wish Nicky would be there." Tracee exclaimed. "Oh the ways I could dance with him!"

"TRACEE!!!!" The other three yelled at her. They knew how she thought and they didn't want to hear it right now. Tracee and Mickey got their suits on and got dressed. Tracee wore a red bikini under a black mesh tank top and a pair of denim shorts. It was the middle of the summer and the nights in Toronto got really hot, even down at the water. It was only Lake Ontario so they weren't getting an ocean breeze, it could get cold there though. Mickey had on a Tommy Hilfiger bikini under a pair of navy blue Adidas shorts and a white halter top. They said goodbye to Jenn and Laura and then hopped into the Blazer and headed for the Royal York.

On the way into the city the two talked about the night and their favorite moments. Tracee's favorite moments were any that involved Nick. Mickey was starting to feel guilty about having to leave Jenn and Laura behind so she wasn't thinking of her favorite moment. She didn't want to think about it though cause she didn't want to ruin her evening, or anyone elses for that matter.

Tracee was still wishing that Nick would be able to go to the Docks with them. She didn't care if he was younger, he was fine. She thought he would totally love this place. How come it couldn't be Sunday? Sunday was all ages. Argh! Oh well at least she got to meet him and get lots of pics of him. She was going to blow a couple of them up to poster size and put them up in her room.

Before they knew it Mickey was pulling into the parking of the Royal York Hotel. Both of them were excited and nervous all at the same time. It's not every day that you get to go out partying with the Backstreet Boys, well four of them anyhow. They were going to have a good time they thought as Tracee was looking around the Lobby in awe as they walked through the front doors. Mickey was used to seeing places like this since her parents had been rich. She didn't like to let people know though. She wasn't one to rub it into anyone's face and she didn't want people coming to her because of it.

"So how are we gonna get them Trace?" Mickey said trying to bring Tracee out of her trance.

"What?" Tracee said looking at Mickey. "Didn't you get their Room Number or anything?"

"Nope I didn't think of it."

"Geesh Mick! Did you guys plan this at all?"

"Hello Tracee you were there too. How come you didn't think of it?" "Oh yeah like I can think of anything with Nick Carter standing in front of me. I was thinking alright just not about that."

"Is there a problem ladies?" Came a voice from behind them.

"Tommy!!" They both exlaimed.

"I'm sorry do I know you?" He tried to say with a straight face but ended up laughing.

"Tommy!" They whined.

"I'm sorry I had to. The guys mentioned that they didn't give you their numbers or aliases so they volunteered me to come down and wait for you to show up. Tim was supposed to come down with me but Angie ended up sweeping him away."

"Well thank you very much for coming down here. We greatly appreciate it." Mickey said teasing him.

"Yeah sure. I believe ya too. I'll call up to them. They don't usually let people come to their rooms. I think they're ready anyhow. Nick's been pouting cause he can't go with you guys. Sometimes they can get him into the clubs but his mom is here so she won't let him."

Neither girl wanted to show their dissapointment in front of Tommy so they just smiled and nodded. Tommy called up to Nick's room where they were all hanging out waiting. About two minutes later the appeared looking extremely hot. And not because of the temperature. They stayed in the Lobby for a few minutes talking to Tommy. AJ wanted to go so they said goodbye to Tommy and then headed for the Docks.

"I'm in the mood to party tonight!!" AJ said as he hopped around in his seat. They took one of the vans the Boys rented while they were in Toronto. Kevin was going to drive but then they suggested it might be a better idea if Mickey drove. It didn't take them long before they arrived at the Docks. It was about 11:30pm and the party was just starting to get underway. There was a lot to do at the 21 Acre club. The music was blasting out across the balcony and the different rooms, it was upbeat and very cool. AJ danced his way up to the door where they had to stand in line.

"Argh I hate lines." Tracee exclaimed as she looked around to see if she could pick out anyone familliar.

"Don't forget you met Steve in a line." Mickey poked with a smile.

"Ok so lines aren't always bad." She said remembering the tall blond guy who swept her off her feet. They dated for a while but it didn't turn into anything too serious. Both of them agreed that maybe dating wasn't such a great idea. He still took her breath away whenever she thought of him though.

"It's moving pretty good." Observed Howie as he started to get into the beat.

"I like standing in lines." Brian said. Everyone looked at him weird. "What? I get to be a normal person standing in line. None of this 'Oh you're one of the Backstreet Boys, everyone move aside."

"Makes sense I guess." Mickey said as she thought about the logic behind it. The six of them just stood around and chatted while they waited. Some people where starting to get curious and would whisper and point but nobody came over or said anything to them. After waiting for a half an hour they were let in.

Once inside they headed straight for the bar. Howie ordered himself a vodka and lemonade, Brian and Kevin each got a beer, and AJ ordered a corona for himself, a rum and Coke for Tracee and a Crown Royal and Coke for Mickey. After they had their drinks they decided to check the place out. Brian picked a table outside to sit and figure out what they were going to do. All four of the guys were in awe as they were checking out the girls. They were used to seeing younger girls all the time so they liked the switch. Yeah they had seen older girls, they were always going to clubs, just not ones like this. The dress code here was casual and most of the people were walking around in bathing suits. They couldn't have picked a better night to come here.

"Man, I've been stuck in hotel rooms for too long." AJ said as his focus went from one girl to another.

"AJ man are your hormones ever on vacation?" Howie asked teasingly, already knowing the answer.

"Come on D, you know you're thinking the same thing." AJ challenged.

"Naw, the way I see it is that we're with two beautiful ladies so we shouldn't look for other."

"Suck up!!!" They all said.

"No I'm not, I just think that we should show some respect to these ladies, afterall they are taking the time to show us a good time."

"Obviously you don't know me very well." Mickey said laughing.

"Why's that?" Howie asked.

"I can't be sweet talked."

"Ah anyone can be sweet talked. Look at Bone, he's the toughest guy I know but he's also the most romantic." Brian interjected.

"Hey now, shh, keep it down." AJ joked.

"You guys are too much. How about we go have some fun?" Mickey said getting up from the table.

"I'll have you a game of pool." AJ said. "On the one in the pool!" He added.

"Alright, you're on!". Mickey responded.

"This I have to see." Tracee said as she got up and followed them towards the pool. The others followed.

Suprisingly they arrived just in time, the people who were playing were just finishing up and there was no one waiting. This was a hard table to get. A lot of the people had moved to the dance floor. Mickey needed a few more drinks in her before she would venture out onto the dance floor. Tracee would dance anytime and anywhere so her and Brian started to dance in the pool as AJ set up the table. They flipped a coin and Mickey won the break.

"Very impressive." Kevin said looking at AJ as Mickey sunk two different ones on the break. AJ remained quiet.

"I'll take low." She said as she was getting ready to go for her next one. "Oh sure make me high!"

"I have that affect on guys." She said with a teasing grin.

"Oh, you're bad." He carried on.

"I try!" She finished off.

Mickey ended up winning that game so AJ wanted to play again because he wasn't about to lose so easily. After each of them winning two games they decided to call it even and all six of them decided to go to one of the dance floors. Kevin picked a room with upbeat dance music. By now Mickey had enough drinks in her that she didn't mind dancing. Tommy, Tim and Dennis showed up shortly after. They cabbed it down but Dennis was going to stay sober so he could ride the van back to the hotel.

Later in the night after everyone in the club had more alcohol in their system more and more people were coming up to the Boys. The girls were nice and harmless, just drunk. AJ loved the attention, he loved women that's for sure. All four of them were flirtatious. Tracee was flirting with a lot of guys and Mickey was just dancing and having a good time, still thinking of Nick. Tracee hadn't stopped thinking of Nick but she was here to have fun. They partied at the Docks until closing time at 3 am. After everyone started to clear out they headed towards the van.

"Why don't you two stay at the hotel tonight. There's no sense in going back home at this hour, plus cab fair will cost you an arm and a leg." Brian told them.

"What do you think Trace?" Mickey asked her friend.

"Sure thing. It doesn't matter to me."

"Alright, but don't think we're in the habit of going home with guys all the time."

"Don't worry Mick, we would never think that." Kevin said as he crawled into the van.

When they got back to the hotel they tried to be quiet as they walked through the lobby. That all ended when AJ bumped into a table and the rest burst into laughter. Then all the way to the elevator the kept saying 'shh'. When they got into the elevatot they burst into laughter again. Dennis was just looking at them shaking his head. They all got off on the seventeenth floor, still laughing.

"Ok now where is everyone going to sleep?" Howie asked.

"I have a couch in my room so one of you girls can have my bed and I'll sleep on the pullout." AJ offered.

"I have a couch too." Came a voice from behind. They all turned around to see Nick standing in his door way wiping his eyes.

"Mickey how bout you stay in Nick's room and Tracee you can come with me. I don't think either of us are ready to go to bed now anyhow. We can order room service."

"Sounds good to me." Tracee said as she followed AJ to his room.

"Don't forget you guys have to go to Much Music tomorrow for an Intimate and Interactive." Dennis reminded them.

"Shit!" All five of the guys said. Tim and Tommy were laughing until they realized that this affected them as well. Everyone said good night and headed off to their rooms.

"I'll call Laura and Jenn." Tracee called over her shoulder. "They will worry about us so I have to let them know where we are staying at."

"Yeah whatever." Mickey said not really concentrating. She followed Nick into his room.

"Do you want a shirt and some track pants or shorts or something to put on?" He asked her.

"Yeah that would be great. Something big and comfy." She answered as she looked around the room. He handed her a pair of Chicago Bulls shorts and a sweat shirt. She thanked him and went into the bathroom to change. As she looked in the mirror it hit her, she was in Nick Carter's hotel room!!!! Then it also hit her that she was drunk and she can just imagine what he thinks of her. Oh well, no bother in worrying. The shorts wouldn't stay up so she just wore the sweat shirt, it was long enough not to show anything. When she was finished changing she went back into the room.

"Sorry but the shorts don't fit. I hope you don't mind me just wearing the shirt."

"Hey whatever you want, doesn't bother me either way." He was trying to open up the hide-a-bed but it was jammed. Mickey stood back and started to laugh. He stopped and looked at her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you I swear." She tried to say without laughing.

"Yeah sure. You try it if you think I can't."

"I didn't say that you couldn't do it."

"Let me guess, it's the alcohol laughing." He said teasing her. "It laughs a lot when it's in my system too."

"Why don't we just share the bed. It's a big bed. If you're uncomfortable with that though just say so. I've had to share a bed before on a few occasions with friends so to me it's no big deal. Ok, I'm rambling so I'll stop now."

"You're too funny." He chuckled.

"Oh sharing a bed with me is that bad to you huh?"

"No, no, that's not what I meant." He said appologetic.

"Yeah right. Well if you want I can sleep on the floor or go bug Tracee and AJ."

"No, it's ok. Gosh I'd like to know what you think of me." He said as they crawled into the bed.

"What do you mean?" She asked, alcohol tended to slow her brain a bit.

"You seem to think I'm innocent and still a little boy."

"No, I know you're not innocent and trust me I've noticed you're not a little boy!" And with that she rolled over and went to sleep. Nick laid awake for a while but eventually fell asleep next to Mickey.
