This site will list the offences of these audio/visual criminals and their fitting punishment! There will be special attention given to anime chicks who perpetuate false myths (ie: Dumb blondes and bookworms with no lives). Let the shoujo bashing begin!
There's not much that needs to be said here, ne? Everyone and their mother knows that Mihoshi is one of the supreme ditzes of all anime history. Kiyone should be revered as a godess for putting up with her... actually.... the same could be said for the entire CAST of "Tenchi Muyo".
Mihoshi is an insufferable idiot... and her idiocy never just affects her... it also messes with everyone she comes into contact with. The worst part is she never really understands that SHE is the cause of a good deal of the messes she gets into.
You know... it's not even worth getting into this one because I'll just keep repeating the same thing over and over: Mihoshi is STUPID! She LOOKS stupid, her voice is stupid... if you look up 'ditz' in the dictionary, not only is her picture there... it's a full colour centerfold!
Do I have to think of a punishment for this waste of oxygen??? Truly... I feel she should be sealed in that cave near Tenchi's shrine where they kept Ryoko (or, in the other version, Washu) never to be seen again. The poor cast of tenchi deserves at least THAT!
Ah yes, time to pick on the Sailor senshi. while I may not be a big Sailor Moon fanatic, I do quite like all the caracters in the show... with the exception of braniac here.
Okay, so she's supposed to have this way high IQ... but she has to study almost 24/7. Um... is it just me or does that not sound right. What I'd say is Miss Mizuno is compensating for being rather stupid by studying as much as possible. A person who was really that intellegent wouldn't need to devote every second of her life to earning top grades.
Actually, when it comes to life, we should use quotation marks. Ami has none. I said she studies 24/7... I so ment it. How she fits in being a senshi, one never knows. She doesn't know how to have fun or hold a conversation if it's not about studying or Senshi work. Every party has a pooper...
So why do I get ticked off about all this? Because I hate perpetuation of steriotypes. And I'd have to say Ami is the pinnacle. I don't think representing intellegent people as nerdy paperweights helps them out much. People can be smart, do well in school, and still have other intrests. I totally understand how good grades can be important to a person, but I have yet to she it get to the degree that Ami takes it. Tell me, haven't you wondered if she's a might bit obsessive?!
Part of what makes Ami's lack of character even more apparent is Sailor Neptune, AKA Michiru. Michiru is extremely intellegent and yet manages to also be an accomplished violinist and artist, as well as be fun to be around AND have a relationship with Haruka (Sailor Uranus). She's direct proof that a person can have good grades AND be someone you wouldn't mind spending time with.
My other major pet peev with Ami is the way guys go nutbar for her. Is this seriously what guys want in a girl? No personality and rather meek? I mean, it would explain my lack of dates, but STILL! It kind of makes me lose faith in males when I hear how much they adore her. Yah, she's a nice person I suppose, but she's also a pushover with some severe priority problems. Do guys WANT someone to impose themselves on? don't get it! Well, now you know why I'd like to erase this chick from the world of anime... let's do some punishing shall we?? (evil grin)...
Gotta admit, after finally seeing the whole Marmalade Boy series, I don't hate Suzu here so much. She's bratty and clingy... but that isn't really enough to HATE a person persay. However, I do believe it's enough to leave her up here. I'm just not going to punish her. Have I gone soft? No, it's just I feel she made some big steps in the series as far as growing up is concerned. I put her up here when she was at her brattiest in the series... so I guess who I really nominated was EARLY Suzu. What we have here is a positive story of transition. Gives us all a bit of hope that some character who is putrid when they first enter a show we like might become okay later on. But then again...
Once again, this is a nomination that I found so utterly entertaining I'm using the nominator's own words. That, and I've got to be honest... I have no idea who this is. But if she's as annoying as she sounds, I'm thinking this is a good thing.
Her name is Shilfiel Nels Rada from The Slayers and is the worst anime girl ever! She is the female Tenchi! She's so stupid and boring! Her voice is annoyingly soft and monotone! Don't let her sweetness and her powerful white magic confuse you, she's an obnoxious, weak, stupid, pain-in-the-@$$! She is a Tenchi or Ranma-girl reject! Like Ranma and Tenchi girls, Shilfiel has no life without her crush. But unlike Ranma and Tenchi, Gourry is worth it. Unlike the other girls on the show, Shilfiel, like Tenchi, is very plain. Lina is very smart, powerful, loyal to her friends, sly, and cute; Amelia(who is a joke on Salior Moon girls) is annoying but cute, loyal, and helpful; Martina, even though she's boy crazy, has pride and is very crafty; even the bimbo Naga has more brains and personality than Shilfiel! All these girl can take care of themselves and don't need men to protect them! I love the Slayers because most of the girls have brains and don't hang on men and worship them(except Martina who is a clear joke on boy-crazy girls, but she's still better than Shilfiel)! Shilfiel is the only character that can't save herself and she only gets in the way when there's a fight! She hangs on Gourry even though he is way more interested in Lina! She even calls him "Gourry dear" all the time! Don't misjudge Gourry, unlike Tenchi or Ranma, he doesn't lead girls on. He shows no interest in Shilfiel whatsoever, he is just raised to be nice to girls. Every time he and Shilfiel are alone, as soon as he sees Lina, he quickly calls Lina over and talks with her. Why? Shilfiel is so boring like Tenchi that she can't come up with an interesting conversation to keep him interested. Maybe Gourry has brains of a rock, but Shilfiel has a personality of one! Everyone on the show knows that Gourry and Lina like eachother because they are a perfect couple, so does Shilfiel. Lina may not have big breast like Shilfiel, but Lina has great personality and leadership, she's strong and can take care of herself, and she's really crafty and cute! And Gourry is great for Lina because he is a great swordsman who knows what Lina's battle plans are without even talking to her. Lina's great leadership is why Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadis(which is hard to do) have a lot of respect for Lina! All these things made Gourry decide to be with Lina for the rest of his life! Gourry is known to say what he means because he's too dense to lie. Shilfiel knows of Lina and Gourry like eachother and is jealous of Lina, but the creators made her look cute and sweet that her true nature is not seen. When she's on the show, she's always trying to take Gourry away from Lina by seducing him. Since she is indirect with her approach, Gourry doesn't get her advances because his IQ is the same as the temperature of lukewarm water and needs to be told everything clearly. She knows that Gourry is very loyal to Lina, so she tries to get Lina to dump him. Lina has a hard time telling Gourry her true feelings so she uses his powerful sword as an excuse of why she hangs with him. Shilfiel uses this to her advantage and basically tells Lina that she'll make Gourry give Lina the sword and Gourry could marry her(Shilfiel). I wouldn't say she's a heartbreaker because something always happens so she never has a chance. When Shilfiel almost had Lina killed(because Shilfiel was in the way), she had to save Lina with her magic. During the healing spell, Shilfiel was thinking of Lina and Gourry together. I believe she was going to let Lina die until she thought about how the badguy, who killed her father and destroyed her town, couldn't be stopped without Lina, so that is why Lina was saved. To help you with Shilfiel's character more, here's a list of what she wants out of life: 1. To worship Gourry 2. To serve Gourry 3. To have Gourry's babies That's a great role model for girls today! There's also a rumor that Shilfiel's greatest plan to get Gourry is to wear a red wig and hope Gourry will mistake her for Lina so Shilfiel can bear his children! Can you say 1699 not 1999? Also, Shilfiel always acts like Gourry's mother! Everytime Gourry is fighting, Shilfiel yells, "Don't do it Gourry dear, you'll get hurt!" I wish Gourry would slap this girl! This is why Shilfiel should be on your list.

Everyone who knows me had to have seen THIS one coming. From the first time I saw Chibi Usa (or Rini to people familiar to the English version) I knew I didn't like her. She was mean to Usagi (of course, Usagi was mean to Chibi Usa too... but only because she was provoked by the rat), had a whiny voice (in both the Japanese AND English versions), and that HAIR! I could wax on endlessly about how much I hate those damn pink footballs on the sides of her head! Wait... this is MY website... I CAN go on endlessly about them!
The hair, don't you just want to punt it?! I know I do. Or maybe it's just Chibi Usa on a whole I want to kick. She's high maintenence and has a creepy thing for Mamoru. Electra complex much?! I've always wondered how Mamoru and Usagi raised such a little rat.
Possibly the worst thing about Chibi Usa is she's practically the most useless sailor senshi known to man. At least the above mentioned Sailor Mercury has some knowledge behind those wussy attacks. Chibi Usa just has whining. Does that Pink Sugar Heart Attack thing do much of anything? The only time Chibi Usa can weild much power at all is during combo attacks with Sailor Moon. Does that seem useful at all? Nope, didn't think so. Chibi Usa as Chibi Moon is about as useful as a flounder against evil.
Chibi Usa is a made up character... but you'd have hoped Naoko could have written her better. The fact that I really have no sympathy for her makes the end half of R season and nearly all of Super S season pointless for me to watch. After all, if you don't like a main character, you aren't going to care if they're in peril or what have you.

A logical next nomination after Chibi Usa is her less annoying, but still pretty iratating future mom Sailor Moon. This is another hard bashing for me to write since Usagi CAN be really funny in the Japanese version of the anime (thanks to voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi) and actually has powers that work. Unfortunately she also whines too much, has a hard time taking things seriously, gets her feelings hurt WAY too easily, and had an atrocious (and inconsistant, thanks to multiple recastings) voice in the English version of Sailor Moon.
Yet again, this is one of those critiques based more on the english version of the show than anything else. Usagi does some dumbassed stuff in the Japanese version, but not nearly as much as in the choppy and highly edited North American release.
Consistant in every incarnation of Sailor Moon is Usagi's melodrama. She's bipolar, I swear. First she's perky and energetic, then she's moping. Geez... give the girl some anti depressants already so she can get to work at saving the world already. It wouldn't be so bad if she was just Joe Shmoe or something, but in the series she has a serious responsibility to help people, but she's often distracted by other thing and get's her ass kicked instead of kicking ass. Usagi... CONCENTRATE ON THE MOMENT!!!
Usagi also has the unfortunate trait of being attracted to Tuxedo Mask who, if you strip away the cuteness, is about as interesting as oatmeal. She needs to develop MUCH better taste in men if you ask me... especially considering Mamo-Chan's nasty habit of constantly pushing her away and treating her like he doesn't care when he truly does. Not good b-friend material.
Usagi: whiny, bratty, bad taste in guys, bad taste in clothes... and where exactly DOES she keep that moon rod anyways? Is she the worst character ever to be inflicted on the anime watching public? No. Is she a not so super superhero? You bet. That's why she's been inducted into Baka Baka.
