GOD BLESS US ALL

Today I saw a sign,
Painted red, white and blue,
it said "God bless America",
but is this the best we can do?

Let's all ask for peace,
not only for ourselves,
but for everyone around the world,
and our enemies as well…

Have we forgotten about the honor,
the integrity and love,
the things that really matter,
that he sent from up above…

Do we turn our backs on respect,
for our fellow man,
even the ones across the seas,
in the other far away lands…

War does not have to be the answer?
when we extend out our hands,
to reach out for our brothers and sisters,
and together take a stand…

Let go of all the hate,
forgive all that was done,
it isn't our place to judge them,
God's will, will be done…

We have sorrow for the lives lost,
it wasn't their time to go,
but keep in your hearts the old cliché',
you reap what you sow…

So if what we reap is love and peace,
and respect for all God's creation,
the world will become a better place,
with a lot less abomination…

When you kneel down tonight,
and ask God to bless this land,
add to your prayers an unselfish request,
that God Bless every land…

Remember the weak, the poor, the frightened,
no matter where they live,
ask for blessings for everyone,
this is his most precious gift to give…

God Bless America,
and every other place,
and please Great Spirit, bring back to your people,
LOVE, PEACE AND GRACE.
