Hello again. This is the last scribe of the Obsidian Empire who is still alive. The others have all moved on for now. I shall be seeking a new team of scribes very soon. I have a new story or two coming in the next couple of days. I shall also be brain storming to somehow put together a tournament for GEN CON! As I will be there and look forward to seeing anyone who loves the Obsidian Empire. This is Bayushi Koda (aka Dennis Quearry) signing off for a couple of days.

Well conclude a plotline we shall try! Well, we have a new story up on the page as well as a new graphic on the title page, which depending on when you hit the site it still could be under a little construction, hang in there we will get it to blend. We have a winner in our last Strategic tournament and it is.....THE NAGA TEAM!!! We will be putting up a story soon on the latest of the Strategics. Thanks again to all of those who came out to play in our Tournament at Emerald City. Even though things went a little haywire there.:P

Argggh! Yes, we know it took us awhile to update again. We are trying to get back on track here. Hopefully Hiryu (Todd) will have his second part to the new Obsidian Champion story up very soon. There is a new story up setting up the current Strategic tournament. The Page itself has gotten a facelift. Hope you all like what we did for the page here during the down time. Now it is time to get at least one of our plotlines concluded.

Ugghh!! Boy, it sure took us long enough, but finally the first part of the latest Obsidian Champion Tournament story is up! Sorry it took so long, and sorry we haven't been as active as we've been in the past. The second part of the Test story will be up next week, so we hope you all enjoy it! And stay tuned for the lastest info on the next Strategic Tourney. Shoju wants the throne back!!

Ok, Peter emailed us with the results of the Obsidian Champion Tournament which was held in Canada on June 6th. Mike Arden is our winner and he won with Corrupt Toturi's Army, the story of the Tournament will be up on the site soon, with a few twists. Hope we don't dissapoint you all up there. Peter told me the turn out was big and we want to give a big thanks to all the players who turned out and participated!!

Konnichiwa, fellow players and followers of our story here. We have taken a couple weeks to formulate the next batch of stories and such, and we were waiting for the tournament report from Peter in Canada, doesn't look like we are going to be receiving that and all. So we are gonna have to move the story on and come up with the new champion I think. Unless we hear from Peter soon. We shall have a story up by next week. Thanks for being patient.

Konichiwa, brothers and sisters. We are back and writing strong as you can tell. We might be a day late or so with getting stuff up but we are still on track. We have added another writer, Ed Tumber to our ranks here. Hope you all enjoy his first installment. He will be bringing in to focus on the Brotherhood and Ratlings. We await the report on our tournament that was held this weekend in Canada from Peter. When I get news I will post it here. Sayonara, Koda.

We will be having a new story up most likely by the end of tuesday night this week. I have changed the Test of Enlightenment from three parts into 1 story, to save space and all. The Test for the Obsidian Champion Part II will be happening in Canada in one short week here, so if you can please go play in it. Ok, we have a new story up by our recent addition to our writing team, Mike Mullins. It is the introduction of the Naga into our storyline, so please enjoy.:) On to other news, the Test of the Obsidian Champion Part 2 is being held in Canada on June 6th, and is being ran by Peter Bushell. You can find info on this tournament in the tournaments area. Last but not least, 12:01AM ON WEDNESDAY, GET OUT THERE AND SEE STAR WARS EPIDSODE 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE! :)

Alright, we are back with another installment in our storyline, and boy is it a kicker. You should find this story has been alluded to in a few other stories already. Congrats to anyone out there who figured out what we were doing before this story. On the tournament front, still no news from Peter in Canada, so we await his info and when and where the tournament will be held. P.S. If anyone out there would also like to run tournaments within our storyline, we have a format coming up where we could possibly run our own, country wide, or nation wide tournament event. E-mail myself, Bayushi Koda, and let me know if you are interested.

A new story! Yes, after a brief story writing break we are back to the story. The current story/summary of the Strategic where Fu Leng returned is up in the Story So Far area. Also, if you haven't found it, the Fu Leng card jpg is up within the Banned List area. Be on the lookout for forthcoming info on our next Storyline tournament in Canada, still waiting on the info here.

Well, unfortunately this week holds no story for the obsidian empire page. We kind of had one of those weeks where we just weren't able to get a story done. So hopefully we will have one up for next week, and we should also have info about the tournament that will be taking place in Canada. Stay tuned.
