~*A letter to my daughter*~

Dear daughter,

Sometimes it is not easy to have a heart to heart talk with you and I think by writing this letter to you, will help serve what I want you to know. Let me put my thoughts into the following categories.

Friends:-

I know that sometimes you are angry with me when I forbid you to hang around with some of your friends. I have a reason for doing so. My main reason is to protect you. I am not saying that all your friends are bad however I do have to make sure that you are keeping with the right group.I do not encourage you to make friends who have no sense of value in money or doesn't care if tomorrow never comes. I do not encourage you to have friends who have no respect for their elders. You have a right to choose your friends, I understand that. However I hope you will choose wisely.

Drugs and Booze:-

I will not allow a healthy body like yours to be destroyed by drugs and alcohol. I saw a perfect baby the day you were born and I hope you will keep your body perfect in everyway. Taking good care of yourself is one way of doing so.

Emotions:-

As you are growing up, you go through alot of emotions. I understand that and will try to help you to understand it too. I am always available to talk to you no matter what time of the day it is. You can always depend on me for support if the day did not go like you expected it. You will always have a shoulder to lean upon in me.

Dating:-

I are not against dating however I would prefer that you follow not only your heart but your head in selecting a date. You will meet a lot of toads along the way before you get the chance to meet a frog that will change into your prince, therefore take your time. After all you are still young and have your whole life in front of you. Therefore choose wisely.

Love:-

Although you might not think so at times, rest assured that I love you very much. I want you to value every day as if it will be the last. Live your life to the fullest but take care to make it last.

I have also been young once and I do understand that being a teenager is not easy. So talk to me. I am here for you always.
