This was my first starring role! After many years trying to get my big break, you can imagine, I was well excited to be in Star's production. It was an honor actually. And then to hear I would get to act with Bowie himself, it was too surreal, for sure!



My costume was the best bit, room for these bear hips! The entire production was a masterpiece! I thought the porridge could have looked, you know, more appetizing, less like shit! But then again, if I was cooking porridge, it would look like shit, so that was true enough.



It wasn't until the 7th day of shooting that I felt disillusioned. Working with Bowie was just....well, difficult! That pretentious rock star, tottering around in his platforms and pink dress - he was the real bear to work with! This was just another gig to him, I mean he was asking for a feather boa at one point, you would think he would stick to the story line! I had to cue his line ya know, when he was looking for the bedroom? I think he showed up high that day.



Gary was moody allright but he kept to himself mostly. And Matt, well he just showed up you know, this was a side job to him - "clear pixel my fat bear ass", I would say to him.








Yeah I would work with Star again, for sure, but leave me out of those other prima donnas!
