RaM's Review:- Although I read very recently that Bowie thought this was his worst film role, the movie has it's place for attracting the younger Bowie fans and it's cinematography in the genre of such films as Dark Crystal, Legend and the like. If you think the premise is silly, concentrate on the skin tight pants and those crystal balls! I couldn't help screaming at Sarah to eat the damn peach and dance with Jareth into oblivion! Did anyone else see strong comparisons with The Wizard of Oz in this movie? Hoggle could be the TinMan...Loved the artistry of the puppets and the magic of the labyrinth itself.

Bladz's Review:- Here is a very short review for The Labyrinth: David Bowie plays the Goblin King in this fantasy film but his tights catch more camera time than his acting. People wonder why that is the center of attention, look no further then this movie and of course The Man Who Fell To Earth. Jennifer played her part well but at times was a little too ditzy for belief. The puppets were decent though. The background scenery could have been better. This my report. Take Care - Bladz

Niki From Gloucester UK Review: -Really love the film......Its complete "fantasy" and you really can escape to this world! Of course David Bowie is the BIG added attraction and he does look rather tasty in that outfit! Then there's the music ...classic stuff again as always! The puppets and the scenery is absolutely brilliant, great for all ages. I know it has got a lot of the younger generation into Bowies music when it came out in the mid 80s.

The dvd is fabulous to see with the "behind the scenes footage"..Being biased again it has some lovely "David" parts! Very intersting too with how they got all those "Characters" dancing around! Oh and a great clip of David singing "Underground" in the studio!
