EVOLUTION OF A PICKUP
As you can plainly see, I started this project with a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet pickup, box stock right down to the straight 6 and 3 on the tree.
The old 6 banger couldn't tolerate my driving style and was found on the road dead (F*rd). I bought a 68 chevy chassis with a 400 cubic inch Pontiac already installed and ended up with sort of a lowrider which I painted black Amerflint.
One thing lead to another and I was bitten by the 4X4 bug, so I bought a ragged old full-size Blazer and stripped it in the front
yard. I had
parts and pieces all over the Yard.
I had to shorten the bed 14 inches to get the fenders over the wheels, but the end result was a pretty tricked out 4X4 like no other I hadseen.
