PORTFOLIO

Issues #1 & #2 of the practically-stillborn BLACKSTAR 6-issue mini-series.
I inked the covers and most of the interior pages.

A render using Swift3D of the BLACKSTAR/Hypertug spacecraft from the BLACKSTAR comics, soon to be an animated series of episodes planned for release on DVD.

A Thrax from the BLACKSTAR mini-series, done in comp marker and Penstix.

These two images were done in Adobe Photoshop for a possible 3D movie based on Omni Films' (Sarasota, FL) motion simulation ride seats.

An image for a planetarium starshow package, done with airbrush and Prismacolor pencil.

Portrait commission in pastel.

3D image (with some Photoshop enhancement) created for Teltronics, Inc. (Sarasota, FL) annual report.

Pencil portrait of a friend.

Astronomical art, both airbrush and digital (such as this image) are an interest of mine.

3D model (built and rendered in Alias Sketch!) of Skid Marcus the Elf, from the HAVOC IN HOLIDAYLAND CD-ROM game I worked on for RMC Interactive.

Another Alias Sketch! render, this time inside of a blood vessel.

T-shirt design done in comp marker.

Another T-shirt design done in Adobe Photoshop.

A humorous image for another starshow package (Photoshop).

Title slate for a starshow package done in Flash.

Image for a starshow package (Photoshop).
This is representative of a number of mythology images created for the show, using the same circular frame format based on Greek pottery design.

A goof on an advertising image used for Spielbergs' Sci-Fi Channel miniseries 'Taken' (Photoshop).
For those who wonder: No, I do not believe in alien abductions, nor do I believe 'UFOs' are extraterrestrial spacecraft. You are welcome to prove me wrong, as the burden of proof is on the claimant.

One of a series of sketches I did for an idea called BIZARRE ALIEN SEX.
I'd hate to be the one mopping up the hangar deck after THAT attack...

From the NIMROD: THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR concept, a look at our anti-heroes aboard the Shark.

Another starshow package image (acrylics & airbrush).

A bolide is a rather large piece of meteor material entering the atmosphere and burning up rather spectacularly. I spotted this one one evening out at one of our local astronomy club's remote viewing sites. Very awesome! (Photoshop)

An alien creature image for a starshow (hand-painted w/ acrylics).

An airbrushed (acrylics) spacescape based on a rock outcropping near someplace called Quitaque, Texas.

More planetarium show artwork (acrylics & airbrush).

Artwork for a Dan Mobley album cover. I do not know if it was ever used, but he paid for it (acrylics & airbrush).

Another airbrushed (acrylics) spacescape enhanced w/ Adobe Photoshop.

This was for a class assignment done in Prismacolor pencil while attending the Ringling School of Art & Design. My Mom has this one framed and hanging up in her home.
