And then there's Bob and Betty Built... Bob is a retired Army colonel who can simulate deep-sky objects with his pipe smoke, and his 24-year old wife Betty thinks telescopes are "cute".
Let's not forget Cliff Edgert, a fireman in Calling Bluffs (the nearest town to Sucker Hill State Park, 42 miles away) He's the newest member, and is eagerly learning his way around the sky.
