- Low-grade fevers

- Sore area at bone graft site/ area of incision

- Arachnoiditis/ myofascial componants
- Broken Pedicles/fractures of vertebrae

- Problems with levels above and below fusion
- Leaky bladder/bowel problems
- Chronic use of presciption medication to handle the pain.
- Constant burning & thobbing at the screw site
- Swelling at screw site and surrounding areas
- Tearing sensation in the area around screws
- Low resistance to infection
- Flu-like symptoms
- Metallic taste in the mouth
- Popping sound from the spine and surrounding bones
