funny. WAKE UP!!!" She was still breathing and still shaking so he knew that she was alive, but something was strange about it, none the less. He layed her out onto the couch in the room and phoned Morgan.
"Hello?" Morgan answered.
"Morgan, it's me. AJ. Um, A.C. is here and we have a problem." he said trying to keep calm.
"What? What happened to her?" she asked frantically.
"I don't know! She just fainted and she's shaking a LOT! You gotta come!" he told her.
"I'm on my way."
Morgan woke up A.C. and then explained to AJ what happened as they drove A.C. home.
"You don't know? She has Parkinson's Disease. She shakes every now and then. Haven't you noticed it before?"
"Yeah, but doesn't that only affect you when you're old?" AJ asked.
"Well, it's not supposed to affect you until you're at least 20. But something's wrong with her immune system and that helps the disease speed up the process."
AJ was shocked. "What's wrong with her system? I just want to help."
Morgan stopped the car. "I can't tell you. A.C. doesn't want anyone to know. If she wants you to know, she'll tell you herself."
"Sure." AJ replied, sitting down and turning on the TV.
AJ settled for Baywatch as all the other channels were "Young and the Restless" type stuff. He was just getting into it when A.C. woke up.
"Turn that crap off!" she mumbled.
"OK. What do you want to watch?"
"There's some movies in the cabinet. You can pick."
AJ walked over to the cabinet. "PopUp Video? What's that?" he asked her.
A.C. sat up and smiled. "Stick it in. You Americans don't know what you're missing."
AJ stuck in the tape and sat next to her on the couch. The Wilson Phillips video came on and AJ sat there intently watching the captions.
A.C. watched his reactions.
"Brian would get a hoot out of this!" AJ exclaimed. He shut up when "As Long As You Love Me" came on.
After the video was over, A.C. started shaking really bad. It was just
slight before, but now, it was like she felt an earthquake. AJ put his arm around her trying to calm her down, but it didn't work. She didn't pass out but lay down again.
A little while later the shaking stopped and she got up to get a drink. AJ followed her into the kitchen.
"What's wrong?" she asked him.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that question?" he replied.
She sighed and told him the entire story, starting from the beginning. His attitude changed completely. Going from hyper, happy-go-lucky, he was now confused and a little sad.
"I guess it's changed now." she said sadly. "It's gotten worse."
"Yeah," AJ said.
