Epilogue

6 Monthes Later

"Don't wanna looooose ya know…." Nick crooned as he hopped onto the tour bus with his newly acquired package of bagels and cream cheese.

"Aww shuddup blondie…no one cares," Brian joked. He sat in front of Nick's lap top, chatting online with someone.

"Are we fulfilling our centennial Internet obligations?"

"I'm talking to a fan…I told her who I was just to play around…and now she's swearing at me…oh! I'm on her ignore list." Brian chuckled. "I got an e-mail from Selena…she just got her grades back…she made deans list."

Nick paused for a moment. "B!" he exclaimed. He jumped onto Brian, nearly knocking him off of his chair.

"What??!! Good lord child…calm down."

"You mentioned Selena's name and my heart didn't like palpitate!"

Brian rolled his eyes. "So now you admit it?"

Nick shrugged. "Hey…. Off the computer I wanna chat with somebody."

"Who?" Brian asked curiously.

"Never you mind!" Nick said both smugly and mysteriously.

Brian shook his head.

"Is it that girl you were up until 5:30 this morning talking to?" Kevin reprimanded as he entered the living area of the bus.

Nick reddened slightly.

"All I have say is it's your own fault for nearly falling asleep during that Teen Beat interview," Kevin continued. "You can't be up late again…our first concert is tomorrow…and we don't want to disappoint our fans after what we just recovered from. We were lucky to be able to win them back."

Nick smiled fondly, remembering the kind words his dear friend Selena had spoken to that reporter.

Nick pushed Brian out of the way, and he heard the familiar POW alerting him of the presence of new mail. A smile danced at his lips when he saw he had a letter from her…his new Internet friend. He enjoyed talking to someone who was an outsider…someone who could give him an unbiased opinion. When he found out Debra, Sandra, and the girl from Soda Pop were all sisters working together in an elaborate ploy to bring that Backstreet Boys down, he was all but traumatized, and she her kind words made him feel lots better.

Grinning, he saw his friend was online. He clicked on her name, and started to type a greeting.
