The loud boom of the bass pulsed throughout my body as the voice announced us:
"Inroducing, Keep The Faith! " the electronic sounding voice soared over the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World.
I had to force myself from smiling so that I could do the routine seriously. Brian, Nick and I held our stoic expressions until the deep bass pulse of the music began. Comepletly in sync, we began our dance routine. Although the song was borrowed from another group, the modest crowd loved us. We couldn't keep the goofy grins off of our faces as we did our best to entertain the audience.
We had decided to rehire Chris as our manager. He told us that with the headlining news about 3 Make Harmoney, people were anxious to embrace a new group. That new group was going to be us, and we all knew it. Carl was currently in mental rehab, and Christina was still making a dent in her community service by picking up roadside trash. The three of us had already forgiven them though, because we knew we were well on our way to fame....and our dream.
The beat stopped abruptly, and we struck our final poses. The crowd roared to life, and Brian, Nick and I enveloped one another in a group hug. We had done it...we stuck together. I had managed to survive this stage of life. It was my own kind of reality.
