Meaghan left artistic gymnastics due to a shoulder injury. She was a Level 9/10 gymnast and a part of Team Atlanta 2000. She began rhythmic gymnastics in 1993 and won the J.O. Championships at Level 8 in her first year. After placing 13th all-around in her first national championships, she qualified to become an elite gymnast. Due to an injury Meaghan was forced to withdrawl from this years Nationals.
