Rhythmic gymnastics is part of Natasha's heritage: she's the third generation in her family to compete in the sport. She was born in Omsk, Russia, and began her competitive career at DFSO "TRUD," a well-known rhythmic gymnastics school which has produced three World Champions. She emigrated to the USA at the age of 9 in July of 1992. A sophomore at Walter Johnson High School, she maintains a 3.85 grade point average and says biology and anatomy are her favorite subjects.
