Alexsandra, nicknamed Sasha, was hit by a car when she was six but by the looks of her gymnastics you would never know it. Her mother, Natasha, was a rhythmic gymnast and her father, Gregory, was a professional volleyball player and coach. She is fluent in three languages: Russian, English and French. Sasha played tennis while living in Russia. She carries a 4.47 grade point average.
