Monte Williams

Born in the late Nineteen-Seventies of the unlikely coupling of a barefoot hairdresser and one of the world's last true cowboys, Monte Williams first grew to distrust comic books when he happened upon a copy of the Incredible Hulk at his local 7-11 in the mid-80's. The writer was so dumb that he had the green goon TALKING, which even Monte knew wasn't right (Lou Ferrigno had never spoken a word...geesh.) Nevertheless, through an artist as unlikely as his parents (Todd McDonald's), Monte eventually gave in to the charming lil' art form that could and yet won't. He has since outgrown Spawn but little else (including G.I. Joe toys, pro wrestling and horrid reruns of the Incredible Hulk...Bill Bixby lives forever, baby!), and now resides in an assbleed of a hangnail of a paper cut of a town called Forestville, near scenic, pretentious, self-righteous Santa Rosa in Northern California. As the giddiest and goofiest contributor to Y3, Monte manages to fill his personal writing quota without ever having to work on any of his novels or stories, which have become his greatest and most overwhelming sources of fear. A student and provider of child care, yardwork and confusion to his kind and patient landlords, Monte stumbles about his day-to-day in an inspiring (if sober) stupor of...well, food and sleep. Oh, and he's a friggin' longhair.
