In test since I began this page in January '96, I've painstakingly experimented with alternative after alternative. I think it's finally ready, but don't hold me to it...I just might try a few more options...
Ingredients:
3 oz. Tequila (See instructions below)
1 oz. Triple Sec
3 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix
1 oz. Rose's Sweetened Lime Juice
Touch of Orange Curacao
Crushed Ice (Approx. 4 oz.)
Mix all ingredients and pour over crushed ice. (Don't blend!) Use your favorite Tequila. Better yet, try different blends...that's part of the fun! Personally, one of my favorites is Hornito's Tequila Sauza. Cuervo 1800 makes a smooth drink, while Cuervo Gold is a little sharper.
