1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion chopped

Tip: To brown in oven, arrange in ungreased shallow baking pan; bake at 400, for 15 minutes or untill browned.

Cream together butter and sugars, add eggs.
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt,
and vanila mix well. Add oats and cocount
mix well. Add corn flakes mix GENTLY not to
break them up to bad. Drop onto baking
sheet, bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes,
depending on stove and how you like them

1 bay leaf
1 cup green olives (or to taste)
salt, pepper, oregano, & garlic (to taste)
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans water
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
rice or pasta
black beans
Brown diced onion in small amount of olive
oil. Brown ground meat. Drain, add tomato
sauce, water, spices, & olives. Bring to a
boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3
hours. Don't allow the liquid to simmer away
completely. Serve over rice or pasta with
black beans or serve on the side with black
beans over rice. Delish!!!!!
1 medium green pepper
1 lg. onion, cut fine
1/2 tsp. salt
6 garlic cloves, cut fine
2/3 cup olive oil
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp. vinegar
Soak beans overnight. In morning, wash and
pick over. Place on fire in 1-quart cold
water. Boil 1 hour. Turn fire low and add
remaining ingredients, except vinegar. Cook
very slowly (about 4 hours) untill beans
begin to thicken. Ten minutes before
serving, add vinegar. Serve with yellow or
white rice. This is best made the day before
and allowed to set, then reheated.
Keywesters recommend adding 1 tbsp. of surgar when the beans are removed from the stove.
