One of my favorite shows happens to be Martian Successor Nadesico. It's basically a sci-fi kind of anime, it centers around space and the ship, the "Nadesico." There is a bit of a love triangle in there with Akito Tenkawa, Yurica Misumaru, and Megumi. The relationship between Akito and Yurica is hysterical most times. One of the beloved characters of this show would be Ruri Hoshino, this also happens to be my favorite character as well. I highly suggest you check out the show and movie if you can get your hands on it. The series consists of 26 episodes and there is one movie.
