Nick was about to turn flips because he was going so crazy in Milan. Sam was at a photo shoot with Jessica Andrews and Kevin was still brewing over Ericka, so he didn't have anyone to hang out with. Even the Nintendo wasn't interesting to him.

He jumped up off the floor where he was laying and picked up the phone, "I know! He's got to be here still. I just hope he picks up the phone..."

Sam took shot after shot, but she wasn't pleased with the layout.

"This isn't working. I'm sorry Jess, but we've got to figure something out. I'm not happy with how the shots are looking. Take 5."

Sam managed to drag herself over to the coffee pot and poured a cup. Taking a sip of the sludge they tried to call coffee, she made her way over to a chair and sat down.

"Hey Sam, are you okay?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Long night."

"You and Nick keeping long hours again?"

"It's not that. I'm worried about some friends. They're going through a rough time."

"That's what I like about you Sam, you're such a great friend."

"You're just saying that because you want this shoot over with."

"Is it working?"

"Nope."

"Not even a little?"

"Well, maybe a little."

"See, I knew it would work."

"Now it's not."

"Sorry."

"Go finish up in wardrobe, I'll see what I can do about wrapping it up."

"Thanks Sam!" she said, running towards wardrobe like a five-year-old running into a toy store.

Sam sighed and silently wondered what Nick was doing.

~*~*~*~

Nick paced around the room like an expectant father. He turned on the TV, but quickly turned it off, finding only news and movies he couldn't understand. He breifly tried reading a book, but that bored him even more.

He paced the room for what seemed like the 100th time and let out a small grunt as he stubbed his toe on one of Sam's tennis shoes.

"Damnit, where is he?"

He laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He fell asleep within minutes.

Nick was on stage and staring out at the sea of fans. He waved to them and wondered where the hell he was.

He turned to face Kevin and saw the guys dodging all the usual stuffed animals. Kevin tried to yell at him but it was too late. A Doc Marten flew through the air and hit Nick in the head. He fell to the ground as everything faded to black.

Nick's eyes flew open and he found himself back in the hotel room, but he'dfallen on the floor. Someone was banging on the door.

Nick opened the door slowly and found Joe McIntyre standing there, looking preturbed.

"Nick man, I've been standing here for five minutes. What's up?"

"Soryy, I fell asleep."

"It's ok. It's happened to me before." "So Joer, what do you want to do? I'm fresh out of ideas."

"Well, I haven't been swimming in a while."

"Cool, let's go!"

Joe borrowed a pair of Nick's trunks and they made their way downstairs to the pool.

"I hope Sam's day is going better than mine was," Nick said before he dove into the pool.
