Alyson and Brian walked down the sidewalk hand in hand. As they approached the hotel, they noticed a small group of girls at the entrance to the hotel. Brian quickly put on his hat and a pair of sunglasses he’d swiped from A.J. They walked inside, bring eyed suspiciously by the group of girls.

They ran through the lobby at full speed straight to the elevators.

Inside the safety of the elevators, Brian breathed s sigh of relief, “That was close.”

“Yeah, a little too close for me. Why do you guys draw such big crowds? You’re not that talented,” she said, smiling, “And you’re not all that cute, either.”

“Oh really? So why are you with me?”

“You’re a good kisser.”

“Is that all?” he asked, moving closer to her.

“Uh-uh,” she said, pressing the emergency stop button, “There is something else…”

20 minutes later, they were back on their way up to their room.

“Oh boy, interviews are a lot of hard work,” Brian said, stretching and pretending to yawn.

“Yeah, I think I’ll take a shower and then maybe have a nap.”

Brian’s ears practically perked up at the mention of a shower, “A shower? Can I come?”

Alyson smiled at him, “Yeah, sure, why not?”

Brian washed her hair as she lathered up a rag for him to wash her back.

“You know,” she said, rinsing her hair,” They say that relationships based on sex and trauma never work out.”

“So I guess we’ll just have to base ours on love.”

She stopped rinsing her hair, “What?” “Come on, Brian!”

“I’m trying to tell you that I love you.”

Alyson got a little dizzy, and she had to balance herself on Brian, “I love you too.”

He kissed her and finished rinsing her hair out for her because she was still shocked.

They got out of the shower and got dressed. Alyson decided to give her hair a break instead of blow-drying it.

“You need to shave, Brian.”

“Yeah, I know. I’m just too lazy to do it right now.

“Come here and sit down. I’ll do it for you.”

He sat in a chair and leaned his head back.

“Now this is trust.”

“Shh…Be quiet and don’t move. I don’t want to cut you.”

“Oh boy…”
