“It’s right on time, Mr. Carter. You can meet the flight at gate 12C.”
“Thank you,” he said, rushing to find the gate to meet Sam at.
He grabbed a newspaper and pulled a Magic Marker out of his pocket. He scribbled DOLCIANI on the back and sat down, pretending to read.
“Excuse me,” someone said, tapping him on the shoulder, “Aren’t you Nick Carter?” a high-pitched, slightly nasal voice asked him.
“Yeah, that’s me,” he said, turning around, but not really looking at the fan.
“Hi, I’m your biggest fan. Could you please sign my ticket stub please?”
“Yeah,” he said, taking the small paper from the girl’s hand, “Who do I make it out to?”
“I’ve missed you too, Nick.”
“Come one, I want to get you out of here.”
“Hotel?”
“Yeah. I left Kevin asleep in our room. So we’re just gonna put your stuff up and then we’ll find something to do later.”
“Sounds good to me.”
They took a cab to the hotel, careful not to let the fans see them coming inside. They walked up to the room, being extra careful not to wake Kevin.
“Hey! I thought you said you left Kevin in here!”
“He was. He must’ve left.”
“Well, since we’re here and alone, we might as well make the best of it.”
Nick grinned wickedly and pulled her to him. Tracing the outline of her lips with his tongue, she parted them slightly and Nick took the opportunity to enter. She gently pushed him to the floor and kissed him with more intensity. Moaning softly, she pulled him closer.
“Sam?”
“Yeah?”
“Shouldn’t we do this on the bed? I thought we said the floor isn’t that comfortable.”
“Oh yeah…”
They got up off the floor and raced to the bed.
These two weeks might be the last time I’ll see her for a long time. Nick thought, kissing her again and pulling her even closer.
He gazed into her eyes and the mixture of desire and love he saw there matched what he was feeling.
She kissed him again, “I like these kind of welcomes…”
“Me too.”
About an hour later, Sam fell asleep with Nick still holding her.
He got out of bed, careful not to wake her, and pulled on some clothes. He walked over to the door hat adjoined his and Kevin’s rooms and knocked softly. There was no answer, so he went inside. Kevin was asleep on the bed, curled up into a ball. He was holding an old stuffed horse and his headphones were blasting out Boyz II Men.
Nick took the headphones off his head and noticed Kevin’s tearstained face. Making a mental note to talk to him later, he pulled the blanket over his friend. Even though they didn’t always get along, Kevin was still like an older brother to Nick, and seeing him like he had been lately was tearing Nick apart. Kevin stirred a little and said Ericka’s name.
Nick looked at Kevin for a few more seconds and then went back into his room to crawl back into bed with Sam.
That's all for now. I've written the entire story, but unfortunately, I haven't had time to type it up. I'll try to get some done tonight, if my wonderful step-dad lets me use his laptop while he uses this puter.
Later y'all!
