"You guys, you don't have to worry about me. I promise you I will be fine," Natasha smiled as Howie grabbed her last suitcase from her hospital room.
"Well, I am glad to see you are feeling much better. You had quite a few people worried! Not to mention the press we had to try to keep away from the premises!" Micayla said. She stood close to Nick, they had gone out on a date the night before and Natasha was happy to see that she would be able to keep in contact with her.
"Thanks Micayla. You are a great nurse," Natasha beamed with happiness. Marissa hadn't seen her friend so happy in a long time. "Thanks all of you! You are such great friends. And Howie . . . well you are a great boyfriend," she smiled to him holding his hand as if she never wanted to let go again.
"Fiancé now," Howie smiled back.
"What!?" Marissa and Julia exclaimed at the same time.
"Yeah D what's up with that?" AJ asked a shocked look on his face speaking for everyone.
"Well, I have asked Natasha if she would do the honor of being my wife," Howie announced with pride.
"So what did she say?" Nick asked.
"What do you think she said duffo!?" Brian said smacking him on the shoulder. "But anyway, she said yes Nick," Howie smiled.
"Oh that is so great!" Marissa and Julia squealed again in unison.
"Oh yeah, Like oh my gosh!" Brian and Nick both exclaimed at the same time mocking the girls.
Kevin glared at them but couldn't keep himself from laughing along with everyone else.
"Well, we better get going. I'll see you all back at the hotel," Natasha smiled one last time to all her friends. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "You know Howie?"
"Huh?"
"Ever since I left you about four months ago? Well it seemed like every time I closed my eyes I would just see you with me again," she smiled as they climbed into the rental car Howie had gotten.
"I know what you mean," Howie smiled as he kissed her softly. Closing his eyes almost afraid to open them to find this all a dream.
