Natasha looked up to see a hand reaching out to her. "Howie?" she said looking up into those familiar brown eyes. She grabbed his hand as he pulled her up. He just looked at her with a shocked expression on his face. Marissa just stood off to the side looking at the two in awe. A smile emerged on Howie's face as the two stood there still holding hands.
"Well it was nice to run into you Howie but we must be going now," Marissa said pulling Natasha away from Howie.
"But..." Howie said Marissa interrupted his thoughts by glaring at him. Marissa and Natasha quickly headed into their hotel room leaving Howie standing there in amazement.
Marissa shut the hotel door behind them. Natasha burst into tears. "Oh my gosh Natasha what now?" Marissa asked.
"Why did you do that?" Natasha asked looking up at Marissa.
"Do what? I pulled you away from him before anything could happen," Marissa replied.
"Before anything could happen?" Natasha said a bit frustrated. "Before what could happen? Marissa I haven't seen or heard from Howie in four months! And I can't even say hi?" Natasha said collapsing on her bed still crying.
"I'm sorry Natasha but I just didn't want you to get hurt again," Marissa said not realizing Natasha was so hurt.
"I know but I loved him. I still love him. I just can't stop loving him. I mean we were engaged," Natasha said pulling out a silver chain that held their engagement ring Howie had given her. Natasha still kept it to remind her of how sweet he was to her and how for once she felt her life was perfect. She just wanted to talk to him about things she didn't even give him a chance to explain what the deal was with that girl.
Natasha looked back up at Marissa. "Well I'm gonna go get something to drink at the lounge area," Natasha said straightening out her leopard print tanktop.
"Do you want me to come?" Marissa asked unsure if she should let Natasha go out by herself.
"No that's ok I just wanna go think about things. I'll be fine," Natasha said with a smile grabbing her wallet.
Natasha headed downstairs to the drink bar area. She took a seat at the bar counter.
"Would you like something miss?" a man asked from behind the counter.
"Yes, please. I'll have an iced tea," Natasha said. She set her head in her hands and closed her eyes. She couldn't push the thoughts of Howie out of her mind. She was startled all of a sudden when she felt someone grab hold of her shoulder.
