Concert Reviews

Backstreet Boys Concert August 29, 1998 Continental Airlines Arena East Rutherford, NJ I went to my first BSB concert with two of my friends, Cassie and Jill. We arrived at CAA about an hour early so we just decided to take a walk and we spotted a few people from our school. They were Ashley, Erin, Lindsey, Kim, etc. So we talked for awhile (mainly about how excited we were!) We aslo bought some BSB concert tour stuff too. So it was time to go get into our seats and we had to stand on a line to get in.. it wasn't that long though. Okay, so we got to our seats whihc were VERY VERY high up but right next to/on the stage! I could barley walk I was soooooo excited and I was shaking. We sat down and the lights went out and then the chaos (aw) happened. I've never heard that much noise in my life until that moment when thousands and thousands of girls were screaming with all thier might. My hears hurt but I could have cared less. Rockelle was first and she sang 2 songs. She was really cool. Next was the oh-so-adorable Aaron Carter and thats when i started to scream my brains out! He was sooooooooooooooooooo cute! He sang 3 or 4 songs. There was a half-an-hour intermission before the big act. It was time. all I heard was "backstreet boys, backstreet boys..." and then a big boom came out and there they were. All five of them. Standing on these boxish things. They sang "That's The Way I Like It" IT WAS THE BEST THING IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! Well next they sand almost every song they know. And during "As Long As You Love Me" Cassie and I were the only two ppl in the whole intire place with red glow sticks. Eeveryone else had green. So we were waving frantically at Nick when he came by and he actually saw us and WAVED!!!!! oh my gosh that was the BEST! we were crying! and then i think you all know the rest and my arm hurts from typing! But overall, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INCREDDIBLE! I hope to go to another one this fall. And to anyone who has a chance to go to a BSB concert, GO! It is sooooo worth it!
