The Back Yard
- Aloe: Juice helps heal ulcers, Sap eases pain and promotes healing of minor external cuts and burns
- Dandelion: Roast roots as a coffee substitute, tea is a diuretic, fresh leaves may be used in salads and are high in potassium
- Honeysuckle: Helps lungs, can be used as eye drops
- Lily of the Valley: Helps heart valve problems, restores speech after stroke. VERY SAFE!
- Marigold: Use tea as an eyewash, mouthwash, or douche. Drink to ease internal inflamations. Good raw in salads.
- Morning Glory: Apply fresh crushed flower to bug bites and minor wounds, mix crushed leaves with crushed ice to help heal cysts (re-apply every 45 min.)
- Passion Flower: Use dried flowers as tea for insomnia
