Andrew Embley was drafted by the West Coast Eagles in the October draft, 1998. In the same draft, the Eagles also picked up Scott Bennett, Joel Duckworth, Michael O'Brien and Brandon Hill. Since then, 'Embers' has played his first AFL game, wearing the number 32 guernsey. He has also played several games for Claremont, and seems set for a promising career.
