Lain is a 13-year-old, 8th grade school girl. She has one sister and a set of parents.
I am not all knowledgable about the series yet. So I tell what I know. Her irresponsive mother
seems not to care much about either of her children. Well anyway, after Lain recieves an e-mail from a friend who commited suicide inviting her to the wired,
she begins to become interested in the wired. Her father fears she's become obsessed with the wired, but Lain assures him there is no worry.
During the series Lain developes several alternate personalities. Eventually with all these personalities, Lain forgets who she really is.
Thus the phrase "Who is Lain?" to accompany the series. When I get the rest of the series I will continue posting with more info. Who is Lain? I don't know for sure, myself, yet.
