Selling Bag O' Toys to Real Estate Offices
Go into some of your local real Estate Offices and offer them "Bag O' Toys".
A "Bag O' Toys" is an Avon Mini Tote Bag and filled with some toys (3-5 I would think) that the realitor can take with them to keep small children occupied while their parents are looking at houses.
NOTE: The bag o' toys would only be on loan to the child while they are at the office or in the car looking at houses. The bag o' toys would be used over and over until the toys needed to be replaced from wear and tear.
What you do before you go to the realitor:
1. Order 3-5 toys and an Avon Mini Tote bag. This is your "demo" "Bag O' Toys" that you can show the different real estate companies.
2. Make up a flyer with a description of the toys and the cost of the bag o' toys. You could even offer a bulk rate.Exmple:
1 or 2 bags......$30 each
3 to 5 bags......$25 each
6 or more bags...$20 each
In the above example the "Bag O' Toys" could cost you less than $15. Your profit at 50% would be:
Sell 1...make $15.89
Sell 3...make $32.67
Sell 6...make $35.34
The following example would make up 4 bags:
4...Full O' Beans......................(6.99 X 4)...$27.96
1...Pooh Mini Easter Coloring Book Set of 4 books...$ 4.99
1...Pooh Story Book Collection 8 Books per set......$14.99
2...BC Write On/Wipe Off Board Books...(9.99 X 2)...$19.98
4...Pooh Play A Song Book..............(8.99 X 4)...$35.96
1...Avon Mini Tote Bag....(comes in a set of 10)....$ 1.25
4...Boxes of crayons..at the $ store..(1.00 X 4)....$ 4.00
Total retail Cost would be...$109.13/4 bags equals $27.28 per Bag O' Toys.
If you get 50% profit it would only cost you $12.99 for the toys per bag PLUS the cost of crayons ($1) and a small Avon Mini Tote Bag (.12 each).
(Note: Even if you get 30% profit you can still do this idea...Just make you're bulk prices a bit different. As they are now you would only make $10.92
if you sold 6 "bags")
Each bag would contain:
1 Full O' Beans
1 Coloring Book
2 Story Books
1 Blues Clues Book
1 Pooh Play a song Book
1 Set of Crayons
Also, you may want write on the bag in a big black marker:
Your Name
Your Phone Number
Independant Avon Sales Rep.
I wouldn't staple anything onto the bag. The children may hurt themselves with the staple.
Hope you can use this idea for your Avon Business. The above items may not be available in your current Avon Books...that's okay! Just order item's that are available and figure the new prices into the cost of your toy bags.
