Part Seventeen

~~Megan's P.O.V~~

I played a couple of games and won a little white bear with a red rose holding it. I decided to give it to Nick when I get to see him next month. I decided to go to the ~Wall Of Mirrors~ and go in. There were different kinds of mirrors, one made me look fat, the other made me look thin, another made me look real short, the other made me look tall, and another made me the same. Actually most of them are just regular mirrors. Then someone tapped me on the shoulder. I suddenly felt a cold chill down my spine. I slowly turned around. "Justin?!"

~~Muzic's P.O.V ~~

After riding on some rides, playing a couple of games, and chowing down on some cotton candy I decided to go to the arcade. There were a lot of kids there but I wanted to just have fun. I raced on some cars, skied on the fake looking skies, and shot a few monsters. Then I decided to play some basketball and win some tickets. The basket was far but real low and it was moving side from side. I got a few shots then someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around. "JC?!"

~~Megan's P.O.V~~

"What are you doing here?" I couldn't help but ask the question. We had only seen them two nights before in Florida and now they were in Lansing.... I didn't like it.

"So we meet again." He grinned. "Me and the guys are here to do a show. What are you doing here? You were back east a few days ago. Did it not work out with the guy you saved that dance for?"

"Actaully, I live here, and it did work out with him. Wonderfully, actually, no thanks to you."

"I'm glad to hear that."

"Yeah, whatever." I tried to walk past him. He grabbed me by the arm. "Justin, let me go."

"I just want to talk to you for a minute."

"You already did. Now leave me alone."

"What are you afraid of? That you are gonna fall for me like Alison did and break poor little Nick's heart? That's it isn't it?"

I turned towards him, and yanked my arm out his grasp. " I have no idea what you are talking about, but I'm leaving now." He walked in front of me.

"You mean Nick didn't tell you about what happened?"

"How do you know that I even know this Nick person?"

"Because I saw you dancing with him at the club. Come on, how stupid do you think I am."

"You don't want me to answer that."

"Cute.... real cute. Well, since he didn't have the guts to tell you what happened, I think that I should. If you are going to be with the guy you should know."

"For some reason I don't think this is as big a deal as you are making it out to be."

"Shut up and listen woman!" He all but screamed. "You are a fan of their's I'm guessing, so you know all about Alison, the girl that Nick was madly in love with?" I nodded. "Everyone was shocked when they broke up and didn't really explain why. I know why."

He made it sound like Nick had done something to her. But he couldn't have. Not the Nick that I knew. "What the hell are you talking about Justin?"

"You see Ali was lonely one night... Nick was out of town and we were home to work on the new album. I had seen her at awards shows and gave her my number. She called me and ended up coming over. I bet you can imagine what happened."

"The question is do I want to? And I know the answer... NO!"

"Well, Ali liked what she had here more that what that Backstreet Blond had to offer, which from what she told me, wasn't much. Within a month she dumped his sorry ass..."

"And I'm still missing the point of you telling me this."

"Well, if he's to chicken shit to tell you that he lost one girl to me, then he must think that he's gonna lose another one. Why not prove him right? I mean, I know that it's going to happen sooner or later, why not make it easier on everyone and do it now, before he gets too attatched to you. And we wouldn't want to make Nick a liar."

"Justin, if you think for one second that I am going to be doing anything with you all I can say is that you have another thing coming." I took a step away from him. No such luck, he took a step forward. "Justin... why are you doing this?"

"Because you know that you want me." Soon enough he had me backed up into a wall. "Come on.... just one kiss... and I promise you wont even remember who you were dancing with in that club." He started to bend his head down. I tried taking another step back. I did move. Right into one of the mirrors. The next thing I knew I was on the floor, surrounded in broken glass. "Oh shit!" I could hear Justin cursing.

Muzic's POV

"What are you doing here?"

"The guys and I are here doing a show."

"Oh joy." I whispered under my breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

"What are you doing here?"

"I live here. Don't know about you, but I'm leaving now." I grabbed my tickets and was about to leave when someone ran up to us. It didn't take me long to recognise him. He was JC's partner in crime. "Oh Lord, what have I done to desearve this?"

"JC! JC, man I'm in deep shit! You know that girl that I tolf you about in the club. She was in the fun house and I tried to kiss her and she fell through one of the mirrors."

"Is she OK?" I asked, suddenly thinking of Megan. "What's her name?"

"I don't know. Who are you?"

"This is the girl that I was telling you about at the club."

"That's great. Look all I know is that she was dancing with Carter at the club."

"Nick Carter?" The idiot nodded. "Shit! Way to go Sherlock! That's my best friend!" I pushed past both of them and made my way out of the arcade. I looked across the path twoards the fun house and found Megan walking out of the building. "MEGAN!!!" She looked up at the sound of her name. at least she knew who she was. She didn't look so good though, but I guess after a run in with Justin, anyone would look like crap.

I made my way over to her. "Hey Muz... I don't feel to good." She moved her had that she had on her shoulder. It was bleeding.

"You look like crap, girl. Lets get you home."

"Yeah, plus the guys might have called."

"I hope not, I really don't want to have to explain to Nick why you are all cut up because of Justin Timberlake."

"Please don't say his name. YUCK!"

"No kidding." We walked out to where we had parked her car and she handed over her keys. I knew she must not be feeling very well.
