The only response she got was silence.
"Wait, this probably doesn't have anything to do with the audition does it? Your upset about that whole thing with AJ aren't you?" Cammie tried again. Joey's door opened and Joey stepped out and sadly nodded her head.
"Oh Joe, come here." Cammie said, sympathetically pulling her friend into a hug.
"I shouldn't have talked to him like that." Joey whispered.
"Don't worry, things will work out, you'll see." Cammie whispered back smiling.
"Get real Cam, I mean I've only known him for 3 days, how could I like him as much as I think." Joey cried frustrated.
"Joey, maybe fate had something to do with it. You're always telling me about how fate will help us to do the right thing, well, maybe fate is trying to help you." Cammie said calmly.
Joey just shook her head and walked back into her room, shutting her door. A few moments later Cammie heard the shower running.
"I hope AJ thinks of something good." She said to herself sitting down at the table.
"Just get her out of here, please!" AJ cried looking at Lonnie, one of the security guards.
"AJ, she's a guest at the hotel and unless we catch her trying to basically kill or attack you we can't kick her out of here." Lonnie replied, giving AJ a pat on the back.
AJ sighed and walked slowly back to his room.
"Hey Bone, can he do anything about Cheri?" Howie asked.
"No." AJ replied sad and frustrated.
"I'm really sorry man." Howie said sympathetically.
AJ didn't reply he just sat in a chair across the room. Suddenly he jumped up.
"Shit! Howie I forgot to tell you and the guys that we are having dinner with Cammie and Joey tomorrow night! Could you tell them please? I have a lot of things to do before then. Thanks D!" He said running out of the room.
"Geez." Howie mumbled getting up and walking off to find the guys.
"Are ready yet Joe?!" Cammie yelled from the kitchen.
"Ready for what?" Joey asked walking out of her room in Jeans and a long sleeved dark blue shirt.
"We are going shopping!" Cammie replied excitedly.
Joey groaned. "Cam I don't want to go shopping. I don't need anything."
"We're going out tomorrow night and we are going to get you a brand new out fit for the occasion." Cammie explained quickly.
Joey looked up. "Where are we going?" She questioned suspiciously.
"It's a surprise." Cammie said smiling.
Joey shook her head as Cammie grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the apartment.
AJ knocked softly on Cheri's door and hid the daisies behind his back.
"Just a minute!" Cheri's bubbly voice squealed from inside.
A few moments later the door flew open and Cheri let out an excited shriek when she saw AJ.
"These are for you." He said handing her the daisies.
"Oh they're beautiful honey!" Cheri gushed giving him a big hug. AJ cringed and patted her back.
"I just came to tell you that I have a special surprise for you tomorrow night." AJ said when she loosened her grip on him.
Cheri's face lit up. "Really?! What is it?!" She cried jumping up and down.
"Well come to the restaurant at the Marriott at 8:00 tomorrow evening and find out." AJ said forcing a smile.
"Oh sweetie! That's so romantic! I'll see you there!" Cheri chirped shutting the door.
AJ grinned. What Cheri didn't know is that the Marriott was all the way across town. Now he would have plenty of time to talk to Joey.
