"Well if you're planning on being a prostitute any time soon I think it's perfect." Joey replied while going through a rack of pants. Cammie made a face at her and put the dress back.
"There's nothing here let's go to that store." Cammie said pointing to a really fancy store across from the one they were in.
"Cam I don't think I could afford the hangers that those dresses are on." Joey whined.
"Oh come on Joe! Live a little!" Cammie said pulling Joey into the store.
"Wow." Was all Joey could mumble as they stepped in.
The dresses were absolutely gorgeous.
Cammie immediately started to look for a red one. She was determined to find a sexy red dress to catch Kevin's eye. Joey just wandered around the store occasional picking up a dress and looking at it then looking at the price tag then putting it back.
"Hey Joey! Come here and tell me what you think of these." Cammie called. Joey walked over to her friend and gaped at the number of red dresses she had to try on, there were at least 12.
"I like this one." Joey said pointing to a simple silk red dress with a high neck and little sleeves.
"I don't like that one, but I do like this one." Cammie replied holding up a dress made entirely of red sequins with spaghetti straps and a low-neck line.
"Well, that one will definitely get his attention." Joey mumbled walking away.
Cammie stepped into the dressing room to try the dress on.
Joey started to wander around the store again. The she spotted a dress hidden behind a few others. It was a deep blue, green color, very pretty. It had spaghetti straps and a neckline that was not to low and not to high. It was silk and was very long so it would drag a little when you walked but would still look good. Joey smiled and picked it up.
"Joey! I've got the dress on come and see!" Cammie yelled from the dressing room she was in.
"Alright." Joey called back as she made her way over to the dressing rooms, her dress in hand.
Cammie stepped out and said. "Ta Da!"
" Wow Cam, it's really, well, um, eye catching!" Joey finally said.
"I think it's great! I'm going to buy it!" Cammie exclaimed proudly.
"Good for you." Joey replied walking into the dressing room next to Cammie's.
"So, you finally found something to try on huh?" Cammie asked a little smirk on her face.
"Yep, I did, and it's absolutely beautiful." Joey replied, putting on the dress. After zipping it up she looked in the mirror. It fit her like a glove, it was long and flowing and went well past her ankles and onto the floor, but that was how it was supposed to look.
"Come on Joe, let me see!" Cammie whined from out side.
"Ok, ok." Joey said opening the door.
Joey stepped out and Cammie gasped. "Oh Joey, you look beautiful, you look just like Julia Roberts!" Cammie squealed. Joey laughed and rolled her eyes. Julia Roberts was Cammie's idol. "Oh Joey you have to get it!" Cammie cried, circling Joey.
"Cam it's 300 dollars." Joey said, a bit of sadness in her voice.
"I don't care! You're getting it and that's final! Now go get changed so we can go get some shoes and jewelry to go with these dresses!" Cammie yelled at Joey.
Joey stood stunned for a moment then laughed a little. "Yes ma'am!" She said walking back into the dressing room to change.
After paying for the dresses the girls made their way to a shoe store and got some shoes to go with there outfits. Then they went to a jewelry store that looked within their price range.
"Oh Cam look at this." Joey said motioning to the jewelry case in front of them, inside was a simple silver chain with a teardrop shaped sapphire on it.
"Oh it's really pretty Joey, it would look wonderful with your dress." Cammie said.
Joey leaned forward a bit to see the price tag, and then sighed. "It's 500 dollars Cammie, I really can't afford that, not after the dress and the shoes."
Cammie nodded and turned around to look at another case of jewelry when she saw AJ across the way at a flower place.
"Uh… Joey I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back!" Cammie said quickly running out of the store.
"Ok!" Joey called after her, shaking her head.
