If you think you fit the bill for any of these things then e-mail us and we'll see where we can fit you in.

* Signing the guestbook wouldn't hurt your chances of helping us in any of these categories... in fact it is strongly encouraged!

Site Author:

NOTE: We already have our 10 Site Authors! But the good news is that if you write a few hosted stories for the site and are dedicated, then I may bump you up to being a Site Author, so read the requirements for SA as well.

To be a Site Author on this site you need to be the following things:

A: Dedicated to the story that you start for the site. If you are going to start sending me a story and then stop writing it then don’t even try. Once it is up on the site people are going to start reading it and are going to want to know what is going to happen. We can’t leave them hanging for too long, or they loose interest.

Another part of this is that if you are only going to write one story for this site and then stop writing then I am going to move you to the hosted section. I understand that you may intend to write more than one story, and that’s why you wanted to become an Author, but if you do only end up writing one story and then stop sending me stuff, then I will just move your story to the hosted section.

B: Please be able to do your own editing. Capitalize names, use correct punctuation and grammer, and simple stuff like that. If you can’t do the simple things, like starting a new paragraph everytime someone a different person starts talking, then I’m afraid I don’t have enough time to have you on the site.

C: You need to be able to keep in contact with me. As of right now Jen and I are the only ones who are working on the actual up keep of this site. If you don’t update your story at least once a month, without contacting me and telling me why, so I can explain to the readers, then I am simply going to move your stories to the hosted section.

D: Please, do not write stories about yourself all the time. The first one is OK, and if you write a sequal to it and stuff like that, then OK. But please don't have every story be about how you and Brian fall madly in love. Give it a little variety. You might surprise yourself and everyone else.

E: You need to have fun with your writing! If you aren’t having fun wit hyour writing then you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.

F: Ok, so this isn’t really a requirement, but it would be nice if you knew html code because Jen and I are going to need all the help we can get.

If you think that you fit the above description then you are ready yo take the next steps:

1. E-mail me with your name and why you think that you would be a good addition to our site. If I like what I see, and the other authors think that you sound like a good person to add then I will e-mail you and ask for a sample of your work. I will read it and give it to the rest of the girls to read. If we think that your writing is a good addition to the site then I will e-mail you.

2. You will then need to fill out a profile, and answer a few more questions that I will send you. I will need this info to build your section to the site, and the profile goes up for the readers.

3. You will then be able to start sending me the story that you want to go up on the site first. It is after the first chapters of your story go up that you will get the user name and password for the All Author e-mail account. I will give you more information about that when you get there.

Hosted Stories:

OK, Jen and I have decided to put up some requirements for hosted stories. This will make everyone's life a lot easier. They will also hopefully help those of you that are sending me stories become better writers, not that you aren't great already!

1. When e-mailing us (The Site Authors) to say that you have a story, please put the title, main BSB or member of the band or group that the story is about, your name or that name that you want up on the page, how many chapters you have written and the e-mail address that you wish to have comments sent to. Also a short summery would be nice.

2. If you would like a banner made for the index of the story then tell us. We are going to find someone who will help us with banners for the stories.

3. Please use spell check, because we are no longer going to edit the stories. They are going to go up as sent in.

4. Please do not just send us the first five chapters of the story in the first e-mail that you send about the story. Let us find out a little about it before we decide to host it.

5. Please, please, please be commited to the story. Don't write a few chapters and then decide not to write anymore. And if by some chance you CAN'T write anymore, please tell Jen or I, so we can either take the story down, or find someone who will continue from where you left off.

6. Please be patient. All of us have school and other things going on so it make take some time to get your story up. But if you stick to these guidlines then we shouldn't have a problem getting your story up quickly.

Graphics Maker:

These are the requirements for making graphics for the stories, such as banners, or for the site in general.

There are only a few of these:
1. Please e-mail us and tell us that you would like to make some graphics. We may not need any more people at the moment.

2. Be able to go by the criteria that we give you for the banner, but have fun with it still. The banners have a point, to give a visual to the story, but they can also be a lot of fun.

3. Use pictures of who the story is about, and even pictures of girls who fit the description of the female characters in the story.

4. Be able to make a decent graphic for the story. We want to give the readers an insight into what the author was thinking when they wrote the story. And every author on this site, either resident or hosted, deserves the respect of having a good banner for their story.
