Chapter 8
"Seniors, today is your day to shine, today is the graduating
day for
the class of 1998," the principal said as Nick fidgeted
in his seat. Kristy
was 3 seats away from him, he wanted to talk
to her so bad.
"Will
the class president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer
please come up
for your speeches," the principal said as
Kristy rose and walked up on the
podium.
"Being the class president was definitely not an easy task,"
she said
looking out on the class. "Though it was the best thing I could
do
for the 1998 class and I did it. We're graduating!" Kristy said
as
everyone cheered. "My most memorable moment was
Friday at the prom,"
she said.
"You punched Tristan and gave him a black eye!"
Nicci
yelled as everyone cheered.
"Thanks Nicci, I did, and I will always remember
that
Tristan!" She yelled sitting down in the chair up on the podium.
As
everyone finished and got their diploma, the principal smiled and sighed.
"I
know present to you, the graduating class of 1998!" Everyone
jumped up
and threw their hats happily. Nick looked at Kristy as she hugged Joey and Nicci.
"Hey
Carter, there's a party tonight, feel like going?" Tristan asked.
"Nah,
I have something to do," Nick said with a grin.
"Mom why did you
get me a dinner? I wanted to go to the
party with Nicci!" Kristy whined
as they walked into the restaurant.
"It's going to be fun," Bridget
said sitting down with her daughter in the booth.
"Why?" Kristy
whined.
"I have to use the restroom I'll be right back," Bridget
said
getting up as soon as Nick walked in.
"Look at that beautiful
girl sitting alone on her graduation
day," Nick said as she looked at him.
"If
she was beautiful she wouldn't be sitting by herself now
would she?"
"She
must be, because I'm sitting with her," Nick said
sitting down next to her.
"I'm
eating with my mother, not you," she said as Nick
shrugged.
"Jane
and Bridget set you up so I could talk to you," Nick
said as Kristy sighed.
"That's
great, I'm leaving," she said looking at him. She was next to
the wall
so she couldn't get out unless Nick moved.
"I already thought of that,"
Nick said with a sinister grin.
"Fine," she shrugged. "Not
talking to you for 5 years
I've built up a tolerance to you."
"Aw,
that's the Krispy I love," Nick said nudging her arm.
"I know you
love me, I saw it when I kissed you, I'd love to
do it again." She shook
her head, keeping her lips sealed.
"I know your soft spot, I'll just push
you there," Nick said
poking her thigh as she squirmed. He sighed and smiled.
"I told Tristan about us, he definitely doesn't care since you
smacked
him…and Emily just shrugged
and is dating Tristan so there, problem solved."
"I
hate you," Kristy said with a sigh.
"Why?" Nick whined.
"Because
I love you so much," she said as Nick smiled.
They kissed and felt all
those wonderful things people in love feel.
"See? I knew everything
would work out," Nick said
with an ego smile spread across his face.
"You
wish Carter! I could have said screw you and jumped
across the table and out
the door just in time to catch my mom."
"Oh yeah! And I'm an Alien,"
Nick said as Kristy giggled.
"And I'm going to die in an elevator,"
she said as Nick gave her the
evil eye.
"That was harsh," he
said as she laughed.
"Let's eat I'm starved," she said looking at
the menu.
"You? Starved?" Nick asked as she shrugged.
"Yeah
well, at least I don't eat 8 times a day like my best friend does."
"Like
your boyfriend does," Nick said as she smiled.
"Like my best friend
and my boyfriend does."
THE END!!!
