Chapter 1

I pushed my sunglasses up my nose as I fell back on the
diving board. The sun's rays were great for a tan, and let's
just say I love the diving board to tan on.

"Jessie!" Belle called from the inside of my house.

"Out here Belle!" I yelled as I watched her walk out.

"Hey, did you know the guys are coming home sometime
this week?" She asked as I bit my lip.

A.J. and I had gotten back together about 2 months before
he went back on tour, he's been gone for only
3 months, but it's still forever.

"I know…" I said closing my eyes and picturing A.J.'s sweet face.

"Well geez, I'm always the last ta know," she said as I grinned.

"Sorry B," I said as she sighed.

"I'm gonna go get some water, want some?"

"No thanks," I said as I let my legs dangle off the board.

I brushed my hair out of my face and hummed as I waited
for Belle to come back out. I felt two soft hands on my eyes as I sighed.

"Guess who?"

"A.J.!" I screeched as I jumped up off the board and into his arms.

"Jessie, ah!" A.J. yelped as we fell into the water.
I pushed myself up to the top as I saw A.J. coming towards me.

"Why didn't you tell me you where coming home today!?!" I said
drenching him with dozens of soft kisses.

"Surprise," he said as he jumped out of the pool. He took me
in his arms as I kissed him more, I was so happy to see him
I couldn't get off him…though he definitely didn't mind.

"You changed your hair back to blonde," I said brushing my hands through
his hair.

"Like it?" He asked.

"Of course, anything you do is perfect baby!" I said kissing him more
as I heard some clearing of throats.

"Happy to see us?" Nick asked as I grinned.

"Hey Carter," I said hugging him as he whined.

"You got me wet!"

"Oh hush," I said with a giggle. I looked at A.J., forgetting he was soaked.

"Want to go get in the sauna?" I asked A.J. as he pushed his
sunglasses down showing his excited face. "You and Belle have
fun with the pool, see ya!" I said as A.J. carried me over to the room.

"I've never been in it," he said as I grinned.

"You'll love it, I know you will," I said opening the door and throwing
him a towel.

"Put this on," I said as he grinned.

I sat down on the bench as I waited for him to come back
out. I laid down on the bench as I heard the door open.

"You're right baby, this is my kinda place!" He said as I giggled.
I looked up and saw his face. "Tired?"

"A little," I said as he frowned.

"I flew home early to see you and you're tired?" He pouted.

"We can do some stuff that involves lying down," I said as his
eyebrow raised. He took off his sunglasses as I giggled.
"Getting freaky in a sauna, that's new for us."

"Mmm hmm," he said lying on top of me and kissing my
neck. The steam and fog was just so nice for this moment.

"This is nice," I said as he sucked on my neck playfully.

"I miss the strawberries," he said as I smiled.

"I miss having to put on so much because you would
always kiss it off," I said with a giggle. He looked up at me
brushing the water beads off my lips and grinning.

"I miss that too," he whispered before kissing me softly.

"You guys were sure in there for a long time!" Nick said as I shrugged.

"We were?" I asked A.J.

"I didn't think so," he said as I took his hand and went inside.

"I have to go soon," A.J. said as I looked at him.

"You do? Why!" I whined.

"My mom is helping me find an apartment," he said as I nodded.

"Where are you looking for one?" I asked as he shrugged.

"One that you'll live in," he said as I grinned brightly.

"What makes you think that I would Mr. McLean?" I asked pointing my finger.

"What makes you think you wouldn't Ms. Olsen?" He asked mimicking me.

"I never thought you would ask me, of course I will!" I screamed
jumping on him happily. I kissed him passionately as
A.J.'s beeper vibrated on my thigh.

"Oh that feels nice," I said as he grinned sheepishly.

"It's my mom I gotta go," he said putting the beeper back in his pocket.

"Love you," I said pecking him.

"Missed you," he said picking me up and spinning me
happily. I knew I was happy…

"So when are you moving in with…him?" My dad asked
at the dinner table.

"I don't know yet, isn't it nice though? You and Sandy can
have the house all to yourself!" I said with a grin. Sandy was
his girlfriend of 3 months, they were so right for each other,
more sometimes I think than A.J. and I.

"Princess, just because I'll have the house alone again doesn't
mean I want to, I mean how are you two going to pay
for the apartment?"

"Daddy he's a singer, a famous singer, believe me we'll get
by," I said shoving a baby carrot in my mouth. "Besides, if he asked
me to live in a box with him I'd accept."

"You'd do nothing of the kind!" My dad said as I giggled.

"It's okay daddy, I don't think that's going to
happen any day now," I said patting his back.

"Well what are you going to do for your last days here?"

"I was thinking of a girl night, ya know, the works! Truth or dare,
the pool, the stuff I did in middle school," I said with a grin.

"What makes you think anyone would come?"

"Gee thanks daddy," I said with a shrug. "I'll make
Belle come, and Tiffany…I'll make her too."

"Have fun getting that to happen," he said as I playfully smacked him.

"You want us to what?" Belle asked as I shrugged.

"Come on B! Please?" I begged as I looked over at the guys
playing basketball.

"Jess that's like middle school stuff!"

"So! I want to…please!?!?!?!" I pleaded. "I'll get down on all fours if I have to."

"Fine, I'll do it," she sighed. "But no singing with hairbrushes or anything."

"Scout's honor!" I said hugging her happily. "Tiffany said okay
too, took her an hour of begging."

"That's Tiffany for you," she said as I heard a car door shut.

"Did I miss anything?" A.J. asked as I jumped on him.
I kissed him happily as he put me down.

"Did you find anything baby?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's real expensive and real big," he said as I smiled.

"Really? How are we going to afford it?" I asked.

"Are you kidding? I said it was expensive, but not
that expensive," he said kissing me lightly.

"Belle, Tiff, and I are having a girl's night Thursday," I said
sitting on A.J.'s lap.

"Oh really? Like the middle school slumber party stuff?"

"I said the same thing A.J.!" Belle said as I whined.

"I just wanted to have my friends over, is that so wrong?"

"What about me? I'm a friend," A.J. said kissing my
cheek as I played with his hands.

"A.J., baby…girl's night okay? I really don't want to
think of you as a girl," I said with a giggle.

"Oh fine! Discrimination I see! I'll just go play basketball
now," A.J. said getting up as I did.

"Aww, I finally get you home and you want
to be with…them?" I whined.

"Well…I never miss a basketball game you know that," he
said as I nodded. He walked up to me and smiled.
"I smell strawberries," he whispered as I smiled wide.

"Not for long I hope," I flirted as his eyebrow flew up.

"Hmm…short game okay?" He said as I giggled.

"No problem," I said as he grinned.
He kissed me lightly and ran to the game.

"Is there anything you and A.J. haven't done?" Belle asked
as I sat down next to her on my car.

"We can talk about everything Thursday," I said as she rolled her eyes.

"So what does this apartment look like?" I asked A.J. as we walked out onto the beach.

"Has a kitchen with a bar, a huge living room, and three extra
bedrooms. The master is so big you won't believe it! And the
porch has a beautiful view over the city," he said as we sat
down. I put my head on his chest as he wrapped his
arms around me.

"When are we moving in?" I asked happily.

"Saturday is the latest," he said as I turned to him.

"You already bought it?" I asked.

"Well today yeah! That's why it took me so long to
get to Nick's house," he said as I sat back down.

"It's a good thing I like it," I said as he nodded.

"Believe me…I'm definitely glad too," he said as I giggled.

"So how was Canada?" I asked as he sighed.

"Tiring is the word I'd use."

"Wasn't anything else?"

"Nope, the only thing I looked forward to was the
maple syrup on my pancakes," he said as I laughed.

"Sounds like fun," I said as I shivered slightly.
I felt him move as his shirt wrapped around me.

"Better?" He asked.

"Mmm hmm," I said looking up at him. "I missed you so much."

"Me too," he said before kissing me softly.
"So I've been meaning to ask…any regrets living with me?"

"Hmm," I said with a grin. "I'll probably run out of strawberry
lotion after a week, and the fact that I won't have my sauna," I said
as he grinned.

"We'll visit Johnny a lot then," he said as I giggled.

"I love you," I said looking at the ocean in awe.

"I love you too," he whispered kissing my cheek softly.
