Chapter 23
KEVIN AND BRIAN'S CON.
Kevin walked into Brian's hotel room, seeing
Brian
scanning through the channels.
"Hey cuz," Brian said as Kevin sat
down next to Brian on the bed.
"We need to talk B," Kevin said
as Brian muted the t.v.
"What about?"
"Leslie."
"What?
Why?"
"She called me."
"When?"
"A
few minutes ago. She told me what happened between you

sleep with a 17 year old girl and
just ignore her after that?"
"No
you have it all wrong!"
"Which part having sex with her or ignoring
her?"
"Ignoring her. I tried calling her, she won't talk to me."
"Gee,
I wonder why."
"You don't know anything about what happened."
"Enlighten
me." Brian sighed and nodded.
"After this incredible evening Leslie
and I had she left a message
telling me she didn't want to see me anymore. I
called her and
asked her why and she told me she loved me. I don't know why,
but I got caught up in it. She loves me Kevin, she did. So I went
to her
apartment and one thing led to another, and I slept
with her. I mean it just
happened, and it was a mistake.
You know that as much as I do."
"You
love her Brian."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"I
know you. You never sleep with anybody unless you are in
love with them. And
all those signs are there Brian. She's in
love with you; you're in love with
her, what's stopping you?
Age? Because if it is that's a stupid reason."
Brian
sighed and put his hands on his face.
"I don't know cuz, I
don't know why," he said looking at him.
"I know it was age at first,
but you know what?"
"Hmm?"
"She's legal in 12 hours."
They both laughed as Nick walked in.
"What's up B, Kev?" Nick said
jumping on the bed.
"I was telling Brian here how much he loves Leslie."
"Yep
B, you do," Nick said as Brian smacked him.
"You people don't know
what you're talking about."
"Oh okay yeah, let's get some other
opinions. D,
A.J.?" Nick said as they jumped onto the bed.
"What's
up Nick?" A.J. asked.
"We're trying to prove to B here that he's
in love with Leslie."
"B, you know you do, everyone knows."
A.J. said as
everyone around him nodded.
"You haven't stopped talking
about her, you haven't been
together since we left, and now that she's called
to see how
you are…" Kevin said as the guys whistled.
"She called?"
Nick asked hoping to hear about Ashley.
"Yeah, she's got a new job, a
new car, everything.
Her birthday's tomorrow too."
"What does
she do now?" A.J. asked.
"She's a model for the GAP, you know those
living
models they got there? She's one of them."
"How Ashley
do you know?" Nick asked as the guys laughed.
"Nick I thought you
were pissed at her!" Howie said.
"I was, well, not anymore. B, why
don't we go see our women's
tomorrow? You know for Leslie's birthday and stuff."
Nick said suggesting.
"I don't know if Leslie wants to talk to me,"
Brian said sighing.
"Brian I talked to her and she sounded like shit.
I think if you
go see her she will feel better. Nick, since you insulted Ashley
it
would be a good idea to see her, and A.J., what's wrong with
Wendy anyways?"
Howie said as everyone looked at
A.J.
"Huh what?" A.J. said
not paying attention at all.
"Wendy and you?" Nick asked.
"Oh.
I want to get to know her better. I don't know anything
about her like you and
Brian do with Ashley and Leslie. Is that
wrong?" They all shook their heads.
"Kevin,
do you think we could cheat and skip
this next gig?" Nick asked giving a
puppy face.
"Hell why not? We haven't skipped a concert in forever,
lets do
it!" Kevin said slapping Nick's hand. Brian sighed and
rolled
his eyes.
"Okay, now go, bye now," Brian said pushing them out.
He grinned a little and jumped on his bed in happiness.
