Chapter 1
"Thank you sir you have a nice day," Jessie said
politely.
She
handed the man his bag of books and smiled.
As soon as he left, she shut the
door and locked it tight,
turning on the alarm and cleaning up after another
hectic day.
"Jessie? Closing up early tonight?" She turned
to see
her uncle standing at the door heading to the upstairs.
"Yeah.
Is that okay? I mean it is your
bookstore," Jessie said continuing to
sweep the floor.
"Of course sweetheart, you know when you asked for
this
job I accepted. Why? Because I knew you would
be perfect to help my store,"
he said walking
over to his niece and kissing her forehead gently.
"Thanks
Uncle Frank," she said sweeping at
an even faster pace.
Frank grabbed
the broom from her and pointed to the upstairs.
"Go on, I got it,"
he said demanding.
Jessie nodded and walked up two flights of stairs to
her apartment.
It was right above her uncle's, and she still had to
pay rent even though it was her uncle's.
She unlocked her door and shut
it immediately,
locking it behind her and turning on the lights.
She
kicked of her shoes and watched as they fell to
aside of the loveseat. Jessie
sighed and changed for
bed, setting her alarm clock for 6 in the morning.
Eating
her dinner at 11 o'clock was a normal
thing for Jessie; she never ate earlier
without feeling
funny. She cooked up some left over spaghetti from
Jennifer's
restaurant and hopped into bed.
She turned on the television and picked
up an
enormous amount of noodles on her fork, shoving it into
her mouth forcefully.
She changed the channel to David Letterman and
started watching, hoping
to see someone entertaining.
"On today's show we have Lori Singer from
Footloose! TVs favorite actor and mine
Michael J. Fox, and musical guest
the Backstreet
Boys! So stay tuned," Letterman said
as she rolled her
eyes.
She turned off the t.v. and quickly ate her spaghetti
before turning
of her light, falling to sleep instantly.
She dreamed of a guy and her spinning
in happiness.
She never saw the guy's face, but he hugged her with
happiness…she
could tell that by the way her held her.
'If that could only come true,'
she thought to herself
when she awoke later that night. She sighed and laid
back down in the perfect position and fell asleep
again, instantly.

"Nick
come on!" Brian said tugging on Nick's shirt
and pulling him away from
the screaming fans.
"Where are we going?" Nick asked as they
ran
to the bus and hopped in.
"New York, your favorite place to go remember?
I
can't believe you forgot," Brian said
shaking his head in disbelief.
"Well excuse me!" Nick said folding his arms.
"You're
acting like you're 5 lately Nick!" Kevin said
walking to the refrigerator.
"So!
I can if I wanna," Nick said pretending to suck
him thumb.
Brian
and Kevin sighed in his child-like
behavior and got in their beds.
Nick
looked out the window, he was started to feel
lonely, he was looking for the
girl of his dreams.
'New York, the perfect place,' Nick thought as
he
got up and went to his bed, a sinister grin on his face.
"Nick, hey Nick,
what's up with you?" A.J. whispered.
A.J. was aside Nick's and saw
the grin on the 19-year
olds face.
"I'm gonna find the love of my
life this week," Nick said
as A.J. looked at him puzzled.
"Have
you been drinking?" A.J. asked as Nick
laughed.
"No, I'm serious
A.J.," Nick said as Howie's
head appeared above him.
"I bet
you 200 bucks you won't," he said as Nick
looked at him angrily.
"That
I won't what?" Nick asked.
"Won't find the girl you're looking
for. You're a picky
person Nick! I bet you 200 bucks you won't
find your
girl," Howie said holding out his hand.
"You're on," Nick said
shaking his hand
and getting in his covers.
"Nick?" A.J. whispered.
"What?"
Nick asked rolling over to see
A.J.'s face across from his bed.
"Nevermind,
I don't want to get into this," A.J. said as
he rolled over to the face
the wall.
Nick shrugged and rolled over as well, looking out the
window.
He eyelids drooped over his eyes, until
he finally fell asleep, excited about
what was
soon to come.
