Okay, here are the kids.

So it's Chinese New Year, and we eat chicken, say "Kung Hei Fat Choy!", and collect red envelopes of money for the kids. Then Nini lets the kids trash her apartment, spray her perfume everywhere, get hyper, stuff them with candy, and basically give me and Spock a break for a couple of hours. Tiger's second front tooth hangs by a thread of skin. Dragon Boy's envious because he's just been told there's a Tooth Fairy who gives you money for your teeth... and now he's trying to wiggle his free. And that poor stuffed unicorn...

And now we fast-forward a couple of months. The snow has melted, leaving behind... the SANDBOX! We have our very own privately-run clean-up crew on my street, complete with heavy machinery and... well, we won't let the Ministry of Labour know about this, okay?

Tiger and Dragon Boy in May, 2005. Dragon Boy got his hair cut at a salon. Mum's electric clippers are no longer up to snuff... and any guy who's ever had a haircut in a salon, not a barbershop, will know why. ;-) He also wanted green hair. (I got purple for myself.)

Dragon Boy is beginning to come into some serious talent, methinks. Of course, I'm biased, but this picture is actually a really good representation of our house (except for the chimney), the nearby conservation park, and his favourite bridge across the river. Usually we throw sticks and leaves into the water, but art releases fantasy, and in this picture, he's dropping his sister. :-)
